Apple Planning to Hold iPhone 14 Event on September 7

Hoping this is accurate so I can get my new phone prior to vacation. I skipped the 13 so looking forward to the improvements this year.

Obviously you wouldn’t unless somehow the new upgrade would benefit you ? Incremental upgrades these days are pointless. However I still have my 6 year old iPhone 7 Plus and will no doubt upgrade this year so it will be worth while, Will then last me another 5 years.

You would not have purchased two standard 14 and 14 pro max’s every year, this is the first time the 14 will have come out lol, however on another note, I don’t get why people buy a new phone every year, does the minor margin of an upgrade really improve your life so much? If so there is something wrong. bet If you did side by side blind tests you would not tell the difference between iPhone 12 and 13 in real life.

None of the previous "Specialty" colors of the Pro Model really appealed to me. Stuck with Silver through most of them and got tired of the Pacific Blue pretty quickly. But if that Purple color comes to fruition, this is my year! 😍

The weight difference is so tiny that you probably won't even notice it after some time of use... and the dimensions are going to be the same this year so that won't help you with the bulk.

There is a big difference between Pro and Pro Max. Reread the post.

Going from a X to a Pro Max would be a reason on its own for me, never mind all the other improvements

Was considering it but it's just an enormous phone. I think a phone still need it to be easily pocketable especially when going for a run or cycle.

I've been using the 11 for a while. The one thing that I would like is to have USB-C on the phone so that same cable can be used for my iPad too. I've been looking at upgrade but I may still choose to wait if the new iPhone won't have the USB-C support.

It’s almost if apples auto dictation is terrible. I don’t have fat fingers but half of what I type is corrected to words o had no intention of typing. And when I type words out correctly apple corrects those words to fit the sentence differently. Almost as if my iPhone is telling me “ NO YOU MENT TO SAY THIS” …..it’s getting really old.
