There are other organs you get a few quid for thou to please TimTim please stop right now. I just spent my cash on an iPad for college. I don't have another kidney for sale for the iPhone yet.
Stainless steel makes it look more premium for a Pro model. Why they can’t just use the design of iPhone 14 non-pro version? I don’t think stainless steel here is necessary.
Good Mornang! Wow! The iPhone 14 line up looks incredible!"this is our slightly redesigned, slightly faster, iPhone 14 Pro Max that you can get in a slightly different color than the iPhone 13 Pro Max that you bought last year. In other words, it's simply the BEST iPhone we've EVER made. We think you're going to love it."
Thank you. Came here to write this. It really frustrates me when Macrumors writes rumors as facts. The article title makes it sound like it’s official.
it’s not
glad you think so. I think it is made for certain demographics who think shiny = more expensive.Stainless steel makes it look more premium for a Pro model.
If ever there were an example of "first world problems", here you go... 🤦♂️Please! Let it be. I'm already tired of waiting and this iPhone 13 Pro Max is getting boring. Fingers are crossed!
To me it’s the biggest downside of the Pro models. I have a 12 Pro Max and will upgrade to the 14 Pro Max but I couldn’t care less about the stainless steel.Stainless steel makes it look more premium for a Pro model.
The weight difference is so tiny that you probably won't even notice it after some time of use... and the dimensions are going to be the same this year so that won't help you with the bulk. Here's holding out hope that the Pro models are a lighter weight material. I can't stand the heft of the 13 Pro Max, and intend to replace it with a 14 Pro for reduced heft and bulk. If they are Titanium or something that saves even more weight, that will be much appreciated.
I mean if someone is an adult and finds 204 grams (7 ounces) to be TOO heavy that's pretty bad. They are rumoured to be sticking with stainless steel and be slightly heavier due to the larger camera bump and possibly slightly bigger battery. That suits me if it turns out to be true.
Apple is all about increasing margins and maximizing efficiency... producing one port for one region and a different port for another region would increase production costs. Highly doubt Tim Apple would do that... he is all about keeping tight logistics.Come on, and remove a reason to upgrade to the iPhone 15? I wouldn't be surprised if they use a phase in approach with USB C. Appease the European Union, but the make the rest of the world remain Lightning for a few more releases.
Going from a X to a Pro Max would be a reason on its own for me, never mind all the other improvementsLiterally nothing exciting about this event. Still on iPhone X and used to upgrade yearly before that. I cant find a compelling reason to upgrade. I know its all incremental improvements but I cant see how any of it is actually more than a gimmick. Slight improvements in camera are not worth the vast sums of money these phones cost. At least Samsung are innovating. I would happily pay money to be an early adopter but would not want to leave the apple ecosystem or move away from iOS.
I'm hoping for this in the 15, they're not going to give us MacOS of course, but plug in and it enables the iPadOS multitasking modes and stage manager (which will hopefully be more mature with another OS iteration) would be pretty damn slick and awesomeyou could pair the iPhone to a external display
