Better wait for 18.1.4 and if there isn’t one then for 18.2.1I'll wait for iOS 18.1.1 release before I upgrade on my new iPhone 16 Plus.

Siri: I can send a link to your iPhoneMe: Siri, why is my screen frozen?
Siri: I found a number of user complaints about a similar issue related to iOS 18 bugs.
I hate the new "ready" sound, though. It always makes me feel like my speakers are blown.I appreciate the pretty new Siri glow up tho.

Yeah… so is mine. Not that long, but since the first Apple Watch. So it looks like I'm talking about the CarPay "Siri ready" sound. The phone ready sound is different and fine.Haven't actually heard it, my phone has been on mute since the iPhone 3G days!
some people like to buy promises, some like to buy working featuresSo? No one is required to buy the device at launch time. Even if some features aren't released for a month or several months after launch shouldn't really matter much as they will still be released. Most people buy smartphones for the long haul (around three years on average before upgrading) so not having everything on day one of launch shouldn't be viewed as that big of a negative. If everything is about features at launch day, why should Apple bother to do any iOS feature updates during the year?
When shopping for a smartphone, people should do their research and see what is available, what's expected to be available, etc. and buy accordingly. Buying a new smartphone the day (or so) it comes out is unnecessary.
