Hmm...Apple and Germans can be fairly anal about stuff like this
What I'm *really* surprised about is that they didn't use formal you (Sie) - they actually went informal (du)
Jedenfalls freue ich mich für die Bürger davon

I was over in Medan visiting my gf 2 years ago, and they had an Apple-authorized reseller, but no actual "Apple store" there...she ended up buying her Macbook from that place.
The G5 and Mac Pro doors are identical on the outside. Are you suggesting I disassemble my desktop comp in a parking lot in a run down area of town to inspect? Am I supposed to plug it into my cars lighter to see if the repair was made? Am I supposed to remove the vid card and see if there is a different Ser# now as they claimed they replaced it?
I think NOT
Please, come again?

i just saying, being to two countries before, and seen what two countries products made. German has always have higher quality product than USA.
But this shop was delayed because of quality of work done by German were not up to Amercian inspector standards, therefore the amercian guy or gal force the delay until it is up to his or her expectation.
so in this very unique case, Amercian quality is higher than German. Which is rare. We all know Amercian standard is high relative to the world, but not so high when compare to certain european countries and japan.
Apple had been using the informal form "du" for about 5-6 months now. They changed their website from the formal form "sie" to the informal one...Hmm...Apple and Germans can be fairly anal about stuff like this

Uero's love to talk smack about americans but the reality is they're lazy.
Why has Apple stores in Hamburg, München/Munich and Frankfurt, but not Berlin or even Köln/Cologne?
You just did the exact same thing that you complained of in European people. Well, I hope you at least feel better now...Uero's love to talk smack about americans but the reality is they're lazy. They have no idea how hard the average american works to make a living. Uero's take their afternoon siesta like little babies because their massive 37 hour work week tires them out lol.
In the end they're so Jealous of americans because we rule the world as they become more and more insignificant.
They spend all their time blaming all their problems on america instead of doing something about it. When is the last time you heard an american complain about a Ueropean country? We just don't care what they think because they've become so insignificant.

BTW other cool, hip and young companies like IKEA do this as well in Germany.
Don't fear the East Apple! Bring one of these stores to every major City in Germany. Berlin is Capital so bring us an Apple Store there and "the fuhrer will (not) be pissed" as someone mentioned
Der Führer des deutschen Reiches ist seit langem tot.![]()
