Try harder.Remember guys: Apple supposedly said "no" to 1000 other things to get to this "yes".
Here's a partial list of what was on the 1000:
Readers can fill in the rest.
- Better battery life
- More than 1 USB-C port on a laptop
- Regular MacPro updates
- 7200 RPM HDs for the iMac
P.S. You can shorten "pretentious buttholes" to "liberals". I'm sure it's just coincidence the 4 cities mentioned are predominantly full of them.
Have you even been to Austin? It's one of the top tech cities in the world.Austin might not be huge but it has a large segment that is full of pretentious buttholes. Better?
Suddenly this guy as an Apple employee seems less like comedic hyperbole and more like behind the scenes reality:The perfect advertising vehicle for Apple Watch bands!!!!!
But seriously.....what is going on over there in Cupertino? Cars....TV Shows.....like someone said once....Apple with Steve Jobs is insanely great. Apple without Steve Jobs is just insane.
Who's the target demo for this?
Apple has posted an open casting call (via Cult of Mac) for its upcoming original TV show Planet of the Apps,
I think he seems like a fun guy and I liked The Black Eye Peas well enough. But so far his association with Apple has produced some trippy results that are a bit out there even for Apple during its jellybean computers phase.A lot of keyboard haters frantically typing nonsense and attacking will.i.am.
How sad.
Get out and find your own passion. Clearly will.i.am has found his own passion so why cut him down?
Yup, he's entitled to earn a living but does he have to do it on TV, the guy is just so boring. Loves the sound of his own voice yet had so little to actually say, thinks he's a Renaissance man, more like Elmer Fudd for the tech age.A lot of keyboard haters frantically typing nonsense and attacking will.i.am.

This one must be down to Schiller, he's worldwide marketing. This is symptomatic of the tired and hollow marketing machine that Apple has become. Where's the real buzz and product desire of old? Replacing old for new just doesn't appeal any more and that must be hitting sales (globally I mean, I don't personally have that much Apple gear!).
This is also typical of the self-centered, celebrity-focussed, narcissistic culture that now exists at exec level. If they have changed the core values of the company they should damn well tell the shareholders - at the moment I can't see any core strategy at all.

I can't see the point in this and it's of no interest to me, it looks boring and not something I'd watch, but I'm not arrogant enough to think I speak for anyone else and I sure it will be watched by many others.
However I'm genuinely struggling to believe that people really think Apple has put the entire company, it's huge resources, immense R&D facilities and ridiculous amounts of money into this one little project. Do you REALLY all think that, or are you just trolling?
There is absolutely no way this is being done in place of developing products. It's called marketing, promotion and publicity, it seems that many of you have zero idea of the business world or developing products. I guess the fact that some of you keep calling for a dead guy to run the company show the level of understanding...
If you genuinely think this teeny little project is taking the place of product development you may need to talk to a specialist and consider some therapy and/or medication to help you with your problems.
Will I Am? Apple is so embarrassing and behind the time when they try to be "edgy" and "hip" among the millenia. this year's Apley Music presentation anyone? stop it
