I wonder how many more of these they are going to release? We have to be close to a final version pretty quick!
"w00t" is so 2005.
Depends on how fast they fix the bugs, I guess!
Without being a dev I can't tell you if there are bugs still left to be fixed out, but from what i can tell, iOS5 is pretty polished at this point. I could be wrong though
My prediction was a bit off, but still pretty close.![]()
There are still bugs that need to be fixed.![]()
Looks like they STILL haven't fixed Apple ID iCloud migration for MobileMe users.
For those not in the know, those people who use MobileMe as their primary email address *cannot* use that address as their Apple ID for iCloud, but must go to some other service, even creating a new address on a competing service, just to migrate their Apple ID.
Edit: I should state that my frustration with this is not a "release is coming, fix it!" attitude, but that this is by design as a result of a limitation, and they haven't even indicated that it's a bug or that it might be corrected in the future.
Curious, that never stopped any one of thousands of software companies to release. There are still bugs that need to be fixed.![]()

I don't think I understand you.
I am a MobileMe user. I used iCloud.com to migrate my MobileMe over to iCloud, I am now logged in on iOS 5 with my MobileMe address as my iCloud account.
Is this not what your saying?
If your Apple ID predates your MobileMe account and thus all your iTunes and App Store purchases are attached to it, you're forced to change it to be an email address rather than a username, and you have to manage two accounts as your MobileMe information is still separate. When I got MobileMe, it was strongly implied that it was under my Apple ID, only discovering recently that it is not and Apple has no way of merging them. After looking around the web, this appears to be a rather common case.
Edit: http://www.tuaw.com/2011/06/17/multiple-apple-ids-frustrated-by-apples-no-consolidation-policy/ explains the problem well. I'm in the exact same position.
