I don't suppose Bob Iger of Disney will be announcing the new widescreen iPod. :D

I'm still holding out hope for new hardware.

CNBC said at the beginning of the keynote that they got a text from their man inside that a wireless video streamer was being released, any other updates>?

the BOX is smaller people

Yeah, we know that. I posted it later. The reason it was posted earlier is because that's what was said at the event, then a few minutes later, they corrected themselves.

Sheesh.

Wow! 30 minute downloads are compelling as it took me 1.5 hours to download from Amazon Unboxed with the same speed. Unfortunately, I guess I will be continueing to rent from Netflix or Amazon Unbox because I wanted $3.99 rentals...

Also, no streaming device or true video iPod makes Apple's offering here subpar to the Amazon store IMO. Oh well maybe at MWSF...:)

Thank goodness TubePort didn't get announced!

I just hope they pulled the TubePort at the last minute so they can go back and give it a decent name like "Wii".

cnbc

yeah, I think CNBC's man inside, was the tech analyst from pacific securities, who has been wrong before and probably just read the "leaked" speech agenda from yesterday
