Apple Premium Reseller 27 inch

Same here ... ordered 13th dec in APR in Belgium ... still waiting ! APR can't tell anything about a possible delivery date ...
 
Has anyone ordered and received from powermax in the US?

I'm wondering if they are having the same waiting problem as others. It seems that non US premium resellers are really coming up short.
 
Ordered 21st Dec and still processing. APR said Apple told them there was a wait of 8 weeks now. That means I should be getting it this Fri 15th Feb but I'm not too optimistic about that. :(
 
I just got an email from my reseller after asking them how long it's going to take..

I have been waiting since 24 december 2012 (7 weeks) and they just told me that they're expecting Apple to send out my iMac within the next 3 weeks..

That would make it a 10 week wait, which is just unacceptable to me. Never buying from a reseller again.

edit: By the way, ordered at iCenter in the Netherlands
 
I really couldn´t take it any longer and went and bought a standard iMac with 675MX. Although I still have my BTO order up, as I do have a 30 days timeframe to return it.

Hopefully my BTO order will arrive before the return period expires, as I do get a discount from the APR I ordered my BTO.
But at this rate, I am not even certain if 3 months is sufficient to get it.
 
Called my APR yesterday. He casually mentioned March as the estimated date...
Ordered on the 23rd of January. They made the order on the 24th though. He mentioned that in a casual way also....
I'm really expecting a late March early April delivery to be honest.
I'm still waiting for a slightly customized MacBook Air and I don't think there are any delays mentioned for that product.
That just goes to show that this particular APR is absolute last on Apple's list.
 
Ordered 20th dec and made my weekly call to the APR on Monday. Was told that it was scheduled to arrive that day. Heard nothing so phoned again today. Was told it shipped on New Year's Eve! I'm thinking he meant 31 Jan! Anyway, it still hasn't arrived. Hopefully I'll get it sometime this week. Thursday will be exactly 8 weeks.

I think he meant Chinees New Year's eve and that would be Feb 9.........
 
I canceled today. Waiting since Nov 30 and still no estimate on when it could have been delivered. Oh well :(
 
Can you guys post who and where your APR is? I just contacted powermax in the USA and they claim that their BTO's have never taken longer than 4 weeks and there may have been one or two that could have taken closer to 5.

I ordered Jan 22nd so today is 3 weeks into my 3-4 week delivery.

Well according to my APR reseller (Athens, Greece) they count the weeks by using only working days..... So 7 working days makes a week for them ( they also don't count saturday as a working week even though they are open)... So a one month wait in APR terms translates to somewhere around 7 weeks in the real world....
 
Ordered a 27" iMac on 22nd December through David Jones, just got a call from them that IT'S ARRIVED .....I have been following the thread for weeks to gauge when I would possibly get mine and had kind off started expecting to get it around March 1st week (hopefully)...but good to be pleasantly surprised !!!

Hopefully you guys get ur iMacs soon .

Wen did you order? That's good news.

You are the first person I've seen in Europe get that soec arrive through a reseller. Maybe mine will arrive this month.


I do wonder if Apple's delay of 4-6 weeks on the site is to help get the reseller back log moving.
 
Ordered in Perth, Western Australia, 20th Dec and arrived at the APR today - a total of 57 days! A pretty miserable process!

Looking forward to pick it up this afternoon!
 
And mine was finnaly shipped. Ordered from Eplehuset in Norway the 8th of december.

I order 7 december, had to wait 9 weeks
 
Just to let you guys know. I'm now waiting 11 weeks! (Ordered 3.Dec through a Apple Reseller in Switzerland). Still no more info or ETA. Hope I can get it early march. If not, really don't know what to do! I feel the iMac will become outdated and old before I even get it.
 
Ordered from B&H January 29.
I thought I had it bad waiting 2 weeks. Damn I hope it doesn't get drawn out even further.
 
Got my order Feb 8 exactly 8 weeks after the December 14 order ... the screen had a quarter inch vertical streak of dead pixels at initial power-on.

Local Apple store did a warranty screen replacement and 3 business days later they were done.

Everything's perfect now ... no image retention ,yellowing, bad pixels, noises (totally quiet), nicks, etc.

i5 / 3.2 GHz / 680 MX/ 3 TB fusion
