Posting from the phone! Activation was simple - less than 2 minutes. Haven't synced yet. This display is amazing. I'm used to the iPod touch (3rd gem I think)
I'm glad you love it. I was showing it to my co-workers yesterday, which they were unimpressed since I showed them my AT&T version when I got it on launch. The reason I was so impressed was because it actually worked...at work. AT&T service in my building at work basically doesn't exist, and when it decides to, it's basically unusable. Verizon actually had the same problem a few years back, but they erected a cell tower 50 feet from the building, so the reception is amazing. The higher up chiefs petitioned AT&T to do the same, and they refused (As a little back story, Verizon put up the tower all on their own without anyone asking them to. We had to ask AT&T and they still refused). So as more and more people were getting Android devices on Verizon, those of us who had iPhones had to suffer. Now that Verizon has it, and I have full service, speedy internet, great call quality and no dropped calls, this is how the iPhone is supposed to be. AT&T really did bring it down, and I'm glad it's finally on a network that can support it.
When I woke up this morning I checked my order status. It still didn't ship. I said eff it and went to the store. Was met with no lines and got helped right away. Canceled my online order on one of their laptops and had my phone in 5 minutes. LOVE IT!
Trillian is a must for instant messaging. It's tons better on the iPhone IMO.
