As long as they fix the terrible battery life on the 14 Pro Max. And no, turning off the AOD didn’t help. And the CarPlay volume issue I’ll be very happy.

My 14 PM had terrible battery life. I turned off background refresh for a handful of apps, specifically the vile Facebook, and it seems to be resolved. The muted CarPlay issue is highly annoying.

I wonder what accounts for the different experiences with the same hardware and software versions. The battery life on my iPhone 14 Pro has been excellent. And I have had none of the bugs that 16.0.1 and 16.0.2 intended to fix.

I really hope this fixes the Kernel panic reboots. Seems to be related to iCloud Photo library sync having some kind of error, and makes the whole phone restart. Usually only happens when charging, as thats when the sync process starts.

Apple needs to slow the pace of hard and software releases. Let these products cook a little bit more. Seriously, nobody cares about making Hollywood style movies or a macro of your hibiscus in your backyard garden. Zuckerberg is already downgraded once it gets on social media anyway.

Apart from a couple of minor glitches I’m quite happy with the level of stellar performance my iPhone 14 Pro operates. The best iOS version to date imo. Bluetooth 5.3 is such an improvement and the screen is beyond beautiful.

Well… 16.0.2 didn't fix my " excessive copy and paste permission prompts" at all… so I hope this time round they get it sorted.


Neither did 16.1 latest beta.

Hope they figured out why the camera app freezes/crashes (on iPhone 14) when recording laser type light shows!! No issues with the iPhone 11.

Maybe is just the definition of excellent? Maybe some people don’t consider excellent the same amount of screen time that other do? My 14 Pro is giving me like 11 hours of screen time which I consider good. It’s about the same as my 13 Pro in iOS 15. The 13 Pro in iOS 16 was giving me 7 hours at most

If yours is terrible simply return it.

Very unimpressed with all these ‘sticking plaster’ releases. iOS software in particular is really creaking lately. Just isn’t good enough.

It has been this way since Craig is VP, what a terrible job he’s doing.
