Running all three since the summer betas, very few problems, just like the majority.Obviously you never upgraded to MacOS26, iOS26, or iPadOS26.
Not exactly the “gotcha” you think it is.

Huh?
This comment literally makes absolutely no sense.
Just because Apple has changed the multitasking paradigm several times does not mean that they have never “gotten it right”, what a silly statement.
Also the original iPhone went on sale on June 29, 2007, sold its first million units by September, and 4 million by that December. That’s a lot of people buying it in its first six months.
Quarterly iPhone™ sales were 1,119,000, bringing cumulative fiscal 2007 sales to 1,389,000.
What benefit is a flip? It’s like the same as now but less convenient and thicker in your pocket
As has been explained to you on multiple occasions by myself & others, neither the VP nor the IPA have been the flops you so wish they were.Sure hope they’ve read the room better than they did with the Vision Pro and iPhone Air.
If not, this will be mega dud #3 in as many years.

There isn’t expected to be barely any crease.I'm so not interested in a folding phone especially with a visible crease. Would drive me crazy.
Do you not understand how quarterly earnings calls work?I've read multiple places that sold 1.4 million in 2017, which is 23%. Here it is from Apple directly, which I guess is though October?

Think of what you want, but iPad multitasking is still unintuitive, and even with the several people I know who own one, including the Pro..no one knows how to use it. It sucks.

Fourth quarter meaning July through September. The Holiday Quarter would be considered Q1 of the following year.
At Mac world 2008 on January 15, 2008, Steve Jobs announced Apple sold their fourth millionth iPhone in December.
That horrible foldable
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has high expectations for Apple's first foldable iPhone.
![]()
In his Power On newsletter today, he said the foldable iPhone will be "the most significant overhaul in the iPhone's history."
"iPhone 4, iPhone 6 and iPhone X were clearly a big deal, but this is a whole new design," he said.
Like Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 7, the foldable iPhone will reportedly open up like a book, providing users with a large inner screen for watching videos, playing games, and multitasking. iOS 27 is expected to be optimized for the foldable iPhone, allowing for apps to be open side-by-side and for other iPad-like multitasking functionality.
A few months ago, a report said the foldable iPhone will be equipped with a 7.7-inch inner display, and a 5.3-inch outer display. It was initially rumored that the device would have a virtually "crease-free" inner display, but it was later reported that Apple is using technology that "reduces the crease without eliminating it entirely."
Apple supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expects the foldable iPhone to have two rear cameras, one front camera, and a Touch ID power button instead of Face ID.
Apple will likely unveil the foldable iPhone in September this year, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. However, according to analyst Tim Long and Gurman, the foldable iPhone might ship later than the Pro models.
In the U.S., it has been estimated that the foldable iPhone may start at or above $1,999.

IF they'd put a TouchID in the watch, instant no-buy for me. There is zero reason for it.apple watch ultra 2...wasnt enough of an upgrade to get the 3. Now if they put a touch ID in the 4 for payments, thats something id like.
Same here.Day one buy. Watch, the preorders ship dates will slip within hours. Everyone saying it’s too expensive for the masses is grossly underestimating how many people have the disposable income to make this purchase, and even more who will justify it as a productivity tool. I’ve said it before…pirorties. I know people who spend $2k on Starbucks each year. This isn’t a niche product it’s a demand wave waiting to happen. See you back here when it blows past initial forecasts.
Same I’d prefer a flip over a fold.Interested in a flip, but not a fold. I just don't need or want that much screen space on my phone, nor do I want to spend what they are going to (over)charge for it.
Curious how they make it work, however...others can spend their money and report back!
We have two iPhones, 2 iPads, one MacBook Neo, 2 Apple Watches an ATV and a HomePod on iOS 26. We have no issues with the software on any platform. Obviously YMMV, different strokes for different folks with their overall experience and satisfaction.Obviously you never upgraded to MacOS26, iOS26, or iPadOS26.
Do you really not have any frivolous spending habits? Everyone allocates money somewhere, just because it’s not tech doesn’t make it more rational. And I wouldn’t even call this frivolous. If it’s a tool I’ll actually use day-to-day for work and it makes me more efficient, that’s an investment, not an impulse buy. Waiting makes sense for some people, but for others the upside of being early, especially if it improves how you work is worth it.I don't understand this mindset at all....I have a quite a bit of disposable income, but still don't spend it frivolously nor recklessly. Granted, I've never been the early-adopter type, but even if you want this, why not wait it out a few weeks/months and see how it works in the real world instead of "day one"?
It would kinda suck to read sometime mid January that a bunch of people have been "folding it wrong".
But I guess the question is why are you so adamantly defending those two products. Manufacturing forecasts were cut significantly. Clearly they didn't live up to expectation. That's not even disputable. You may like them, yes. But, that doesn't mean they didn't flop.As has been explained to you on multiple occasions by myself & others, neither the VP nor the IPA have been the flops you so wish they were.
