They will still be working on it last minute... it will be delivered hot from the oven...

Hoping this will fix the Bluetooth connectivity issues with audio devices such as hearing aids and AirPods. My case was escalated to a senior engineering team who took enhanced Bluetooth logs last week from my iPhone 15 Pro so here’s hoping.

The one that got me, again, and seems to be on the rise with 17.x is your Home "moving" by a few hundred meters, breaking all HomeKit automations tied to location.

Your "Home" in contacts doesn't move, is listed correctly, etc. But make a new automation in the Home App and it says your significant location used for automations is a block away.

apple should have done mass layoffs like the rest of the tech industry, they have too many inept engineers.
I think that should be 'inept managers'. Usually engineers are pretty good at doing what they are told or otherwise allowed to do within the time frame given. I suspect either scope or time are being limited which gives us users crappy product.

We all know how it goes.

Manager: How long for this bug fix.
Engineer: about 3 days.
Manager: You have 1 day.

We all know that managers seem to think this is how you manage engineers. I should say, "poor managers ..." use this technique. You know the ones that can't do, then get promoted.

What kind of problems are you facing? I have a family member that uses hearing aids with their 15 Pro Max and they are getting repeated instances of "call failed" when answering calls.

I've been trying to assist them in troubleshooting but am running out of ideas. I have been wondering if the hearing aids might be an issue with disconnecting etc.

Are you experiencing anything like this?

i have an Iphone 13 mini, with latest version 17.1.1. and i see some UI stuttering when i pull down control center from time to time, especially over apps, but not all the time. Does anybody has the same issue ? I think apple might slowed down the older versions of devices...like they usually do, but didn't expect to 13.

I don't know if anyone else has this issue, but my issue is with wireless hotspot pairing with my Mac and my 15 Pro. Cable works fine, but it's a 99.5% miss and 0.5% chance that it will pair wirelessly.

Wow. That’s a strong statement for a software company that has to fix software bugs and has the number 1 cellphone in North America solely because of its software.

And the Crook said mass layoffs‘ the last resort. Too bad we don’t have SJ around anymore to screw them upside down, and we’re paying for their ineptitudes as a result…

I can understand bugs with new features and I wouldn’t even mind a few updates before they’re polished but I pray every update that it doesn’t break something that was working just fine previously. This drives me up a wall and very prevalent with HomeKit. Don’t even get me started on the HomePod.

Whoa! Calm down there speedy. I’m not Apple so I don’t know how they prioritize bug fixes, I’m just saying, the iPhone still has a port so wireless isn’t the ONLY way to charge your device while driving a BMW (which not everyone has said model). There are far more users who don’t drive that car, and ALL of those users have a Lightning/USB-C port on their iPhones. However, maybe the bugs I’ve experienced are just local to me (even after updating/restoring) on my iPhone 15 Pro.
Hold on there, my little speedy bunny. You seem to not understand the problem. It's not just the inability to wirelessly charge. The real problem is the damage it does to the iphone. These people who had their iphone damaged, didn't know ahead of time that their iphone would be damaged. Otherwise, they would have used another charging method. Not having wireless charging isn't that big of a deal. But when your iphone gets damaged, that's another story.

I wish they’d fix the Bluetooth audio issues. My iPhone 17 Pro max and my wife’s SE 3 have the same issues in both of our (different make) cars. Frequent disconnects and occasionally the audio speeds up. Happens frequently

Gee, do you think this'll fix the defect that has embarrassingly plagued the iPhone since day one: no audible notifications of missed calls?

They fixed wifi bugs on 17.2 beta 3. Now my 15 Pro Max can connect reliably and STAY CONNECTED to my wifi network. However, it connects to 6Ghz band for few minutes and disconnects and reconnects to 5Ghz band. After that, 6Ghz band disappears and comes back only if i reboot my phone. Also, none of my Type C nvme drive enclosures show up in files app of my 15 PM. But they do show up in iPad Pro 2022.
