Except that EVERY major tech company that make software is releasing updates very very frequently. It's just the nature of the beast. Software has become VERY complex in the last 15 years.
Do you feel it's worth it? For me, it isn't. I can't say I put any more value in my current iPhone than I did my 4s, which received significantly less updates. It seems like I'm using my phone about as much as I was then, only it's constantly having to be updated due to bugs.

apple should have done mass layoffs like the rest of the tech industry, they have too many inept engineers.
This

Also if apple honestly believes their updates have any value you should be able to roll back to a earlier version

If you have to force people to do something 9.9/10 it ain’t for their honest benefit

Its not only bugs, there are lots more security flaws found that also need to be patched quicker.
10 years ago things moved much slower when it comes to security threats and even if it feels like not much has changed, it really has in terms of home much more complicated todays iOS are.

Havin said that, I'm not a fan of when companies release half finished software. But its a trend we see everywhere these days. Can't see how it will be solved tho. Maybe with laws and regulations, who knows.
