Why are people at MacRumors so gullible and love to create and drool over cheap, unimaginative mockups that portray nothing but their own desires for a gimmicky, niche product?

And if it were in real life, yes, I would still call the mockups fugly as hell, and say that a majority of rumor site readers are gullible and somewhat juvenile when it comes to these "new mac" concepts.

I remember the mockups of the Intel iMacs... fugly! The iPhone.... fugly... the fullscreen iPod.... fugly.... and a host of others that got the blood pressure of some pre-pubescent poster up so high they wouldn't listen to reason. Then the same poster slams everything that's announced during an Apple event because it didn't look like their fugly mockup made in Blender or something.

Like this past event, with all the mindless people that didn't do the research into 32GB chips small enough to fit into the iPod Touch. SO many whiners and NO readers. I think they are still whining about not having a 32GB touch, then there are those that think a 128GB flash Touch will replace a Classic since THEY think it's SO cool... 🙄 And the ones that claimed there'd be a 240GB Classic, when there weren't any drives for it. 🙄

Sorry for the rant, just that many posters don't have any forethought when it comes to predictions.

p.s. Not hostile toward you are any direct poster.... and yes I am biased of mockups since they all pretty much suck and are unimaginative.

You mean 64 GB touch? 😉

Thankfully, there were those who kept their expectations aligned to reality and made sensible predictions about the upcoming iPod lineup. And they were the ones who were the most accurate. 🙂
