"One more thing: we have added a retina display, an A5 chip and 1GB of ram."

"OK, that's actually three more things but we want are customers to be happy" :D

If only this was true...

In the completed layout the dots are much closer packed on the right of the Apple logo than on the left. It would appear that Apple is moving from a less packed dpi display to a more tightly packed display...a la retina.

If so, this should derail any plans of competitors to compete with Apple for another year. Especially since Apple owns 60% of the worldwide display production for 2011.

I think the March 2nd event will include the iPad 2, Free MobileMe, and the release of iOS 4.3. What do you think??

Cities

If you look at the dot pattern, it would seem that it is a representation of major cities in the United States.. Nodes perhaps? I'm curious to see what would happen if someone could get a straight-on picture of the dots and overlay it on top of a US map.... Why else would there be more dots on the one side of the Apple Logo than the other?

Or am I just seeing patterns that don't exist? :)

It definitely portrays something those dots. Hope to god retina.

You guys are reading too much into this. The dots mean nothing! Last time it was splattered paint. Apple didn't announce anything that had to do with paint or paint splatters! Let's move on now.:D
