Apple Promises Two More Mac Announcements This Week Following New iMac Today

That was a story that only the most terminally online tech fans saw. If you think the mass market of Mac buyers know or care about Russians unboxing stolen MacBooks on their YT channels, and that those videos affected Apple's launch plans for these products, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
That makes no sense. Why would they do Pro&Max chip first and then go back to just Pro and Max?
Instead, tomorrow is mac mini with m4 & m4 Pro especially as its not their bread and butter and the redesign will make a bigger buzz so wednesday they will drop the big guns for the MBP. (which is their main product) The best for last (in their eyes)

remember when Apple cared about PRO users? It's been a very long time. If they released a 27" version of this new imac, I could make it work, but I really am getting impatient for the new STUDIO.
The AV1 hardware decoding support of an A17 Pro or better would be pretty sweet.

For me I would use this feature in my room where I don't really need a full sized TV but would enjoy using my Studio Display as one occasionally.
The Mac has always been weird in the Cook era. It honestly feels like they only care about the laptops.
I get that it's in Apple's nature to overhype everything, but I do wonder if they realize how underwhelming all this is to customers?

Since Wednesday is the media hands on day, my guess is they save the Mac Mini release for that day. That way media gets to see it right away.

Apple knows how to build anticipation. The new iMacs are nice, but let's be honest, just about everyone who's paying attention, care more about the new macbooks (higher end m4 chips) as well as the revised mac mini... yet Apple makes us wait.

I think they wanna make it smaller for future buyer to better differentiate the Studio from the Mini.
It's because desktop sales have been on a downward trend for about 15 years, and not just for Apple.
I had completely forgot about Front Row! And it worked quite well too.
Is that Mac Pro M2 Studio Ultra failing you somehow? My M1 Studio Ultra has yet to disappoint me (okay, refresh rates on the USB port is limited to 60Hz, but so is my third monitor).
Lightning in design is a far better connector than USC-C. Smaller footprint, more robust, positive locking. Apple dropped the ball not getting it to become the new USB-C connector over the abomination we have now.
