Motorola seems to be playing its 'sore looser' card. They haven't brought anything useful in the mobile phone arena, and just keep loosing ground.
Their last attempt at a smartphone was a failure.

Now, all they have left to make money is to sue other companies. They could have done that for several years, but waiting until the last minute shows that this is obviously a desperate act.

I just hope Apple buys Motorola and gets over with this.

1) Motorola hasn't brought anything useful in the mobile phone arena? You mean actual phones? Subjective. Technology? Couldn't be more wrong.

2) "I just hope Apple buys Motorola." You mean but them from Google? Yeah. That's going to happen. Not to mention - how is that the "go to" answer anytime someone sues Apple. "Apple should just buy...." Ridiculous statement.

LOL! I don't think you've said anything more ironic then the above. You're constantly asking people to search things for you.

False, but I think it will be hard to try to explain that and why asking for arguments is not asking for searching.

So in closing, you have no proof that Mueller has been "proved wrong many times", right?

No, I don't have any proof, Mueller is the patent God and HE always is right.

Happy?

Also, can you show me the Miami patent that is the US equivalent of this one? I'm curious.

Miami patent?

Well, I can't show any Miami patent, I only can show an U.S. patent. If that serves you ...

A regional court in Mannheim, Germany ruled that Apple’s devices with cellular networking infringe Motorola-owned patent 1010336. This is the equivalent networking patent has detailed by U.S. Patent No. 6,359,898.

Oh I forgot, Mueller is the horrible anti-everything but Apple-patent lawyer. LOL. Silliness.

Mueller is a consultant that is currently employed by Microsoft. In the mobile phone arena, Microsoft and Apple are getting along fairly well.

Well yeah, when it's convenient for you it's asking for searching, and when it's not convenient it's asking for arguments.

Happy?

No need for dramatics.

I believe you said

Oletros said:
Well, is not my fault that Mueller forgives that Motorola has filled a case in Florida against the iPhone 4S about the same patent (the US equivalent) that has granted the injunction in Germany.

The patents in question in Florida (Miami...thought you'd know that since you're apparently a patent lawyer) are:

U.S. Patents 5,710,987
5,574,119
5,958,006
6,101,531
6,008,737
and 6,377,161

The patent you named above Patent No. 6,359,898 is not on that list. So...care to try again? No? Didn't think so...

lol...sucks, all the detractors were getting excited...

No offense but you really don't think the droid razr maxx is innovative? That battery tech in a phone that thin is pretty impressive to me and I hope it spreads to other devices.

Hmm... so inventing the cellphone isnt anything useful?

Samsung will have Anti-Trust Company: Motorola Wireless

This was a myopic move by Moto.

They have just opened the door to AntiTrust actions against them.

Desperation leads to doing stupid things. It's hilarious how this thread has suddenly turned. What Motorola is doing has no comparison to what apple does. Trying to extort a company with FRAND patents is pretty dumb.

Now consumers have to drive to the few Apple stores to buy one. Wouldn't you say there's a level of impact there? Consumers being unable to make impulse one-click purchases?

This is Apple gear we're talking about. Consumers will get to it by any means possible. And this is only in Germany. Where the 4S is still for sale through usual channels.

LOL wake up. This is the Apple of 2012.

Oh, check the update, everything back to normal for the time being. But the show continues :)

I have yet to see that phone in someone's hand. And where I live, most people carry high-end phones.
It could be an impressive phone, but if it doesn't sell, it becomes junk.

No offense, but the Razr Maxx is huge ... it's thinner but bigger in every other dimension.

-> I'm referring to recent years, not what they did in the past.

-> That's just your opinion. I have my own too. If you don't like it, well... too bad!

How about Samsung suing Apple in that 3G patent? That 3G patent that Broadcom uses, and that 3G patent that Broadcom pay for to sell the chip.

Samsung was suing Apple because they were using the Broadcom chip. Come, this should be an eye opener, not a fanatic love toward Samsung. Samsung is wrong, they stole Apple:

And Apple sues cause they are kind, nice and righteous? I guess you have never bought an Apple Rev A product that had a major defect and apple refused to acknowledge that it existing till a fix was rolled out.
