I've been plenty crazy by that definition plenty of times. But I've seen a visible drop in quality and utility. I guess I've been to see a shrink? Or maybe they just need to rebase some more and stop depending on that Apple logo so much to guarantee sales? That only lasts so long.

I feel this guy. Every time I try to point out that Apple has some quality and decision making issues of late, the frothing ant pile of idiot fan boys start raving about how I just hate Apple. Let me TRY to count my invest level:

Developer Program
probably 12 iPads of various types
2 Apple watches
8 Apple TVs
3 Macbook pros
2 Mac minis
2 Mac Pros
2 iMacs
God knows how many Airport Expresses/Extremes
3 iphones
... etc. etc.

Oh yeah... I really hate Apple. This is where I start saying it has become a brand thing and there are brand zealots on the loose. You can see them in this thread right now.

I don't know if it's really a drop in quality or if Apple has just hitched their horse to the wrong wagon. USB type C thunderbolt ports can do a lot, but if the port implementation has some bugs, and that is all you offer on your product then your product will be saddled with those bugs. I wish they would add a couple type a ports to their laptops but that will probably never happen. All this won't stop me from buying a new MacBook. I have used my 2010 MacBook to death. It's time to let it go.

Yes I have a 2015 for my personal and LOVE it. The new Touch Bar version I have is for work and with all our security I am forced to use it. Note with all the love I have for Apple I am saying I am FORCED to use one of they products lol. We are so locked down at work I can't use my personal. I wish they had just given me a 2015. This new thing is junk on several levels. Keyboard, worthless Touch Bar, Battery issues (can't boot while plugged in regardless of battery charge status; life sucks), throttling and heat issues, no useful ports especially HDMI. No way I'd buy this thing for a premium price. It just isn't worth it. The tech decisions and quality just aren't there to demand that price tag.

They removed them because they don’t like listening to their buyers.

The physical escape key, inverted-T arrow keys, scissor keyboard, better thermals (at the expense of size - gosh!), etc. in the 16” MacBook Pro all say otherwise.

You can easily go to YouTube and many other platforms to read and view reviews.

There are certainly lots of products to see on there along with many opinion pieces but most of it is home made bla that’s far away from a review in the journalistic sense.

There's a hole in the logic there that "because you haven't had the problem, the reviews about said problem are comical"

(insinuation is that they are wrong)

So you quote part of what I said, and then comment against it? Uh....okay. Next time, quote the whole thing, and respond to the whole thing.
