With that said, can't blame Apple for this one. The developer should have known better.

I suppose the Review-Team at Apple was on vacation. How could 170,000 people download this copy of Apple design?
Would have been a totally different ballgame, if a developer would have delivered a classic iPod skin for free programmed for fun in the garage , but a company charging for Apple Music use an making money out of the ideas of others by copy-paste? IMHO: No.

Let me just take my first gen Nano from the shelf... click-wheel and iPod experience is something I really miss nowadays.

Why do you miss it? You have it. Use it. My iPod Classic is still running like a dream and there’s a whole industry of repairers and battery replacement options out there. I’ll use my Classic until I die. Streaming is rubbish. Permanent connectivity is overly-distracting. For music, nothing beats just walking along with an iPod playing Gary Numan’s new live album, “When the Sky Came Down”, completely free of effing notifications. Leave me alone.
