So in states and areas where weed is legal, this does not apply. And secondly, it's only if "excessive consumption of illegal substances". I'm not sure this app does that. Also the minors part is specifically for alcohol and cigarettes. That does not state weed.2.18 Apps that encourage excessive consumption of alcohol or illegal substances, or encourage minors to consume alcohol or smoke cigarettes, will be rejected
Not sure if anyone in the public actually even knows why the app has been pulled to begin with.So in states and areas where weed is legal, this does not apply. So Apple pulling this app is borderline not breaking the rules. A grey area. I think Apple seeing an app on the top free list about Weed was enough for them to pull it. If this game was not on the top free list I think it'd never have been pulled.
Where did Apple do that? There goes apple again telling you whats good for you. Not letting you make that decision on your own. Guess apple knows whats best for its customers. Gee whiz, what ever happened to maybe warning lables, another screen popping up before the download begins on its content, or maybe let customers decide. Time to move off the apple coolaide bandwagon and get a phone that lets ME decide what I want. One month left of my sentence, i mean contract with my prison iphone 4S.
Censorship in what way?0/10. This is officially censorship Apple. And I hate censorship. It's lame, weak and pathetic.
Censorship in what way?
Considering we don't know why Apple pulled it down...yeah, I am wondering.Apple took down an app that has content they disapprove of and you're wondering what part of that is censorship?![]()

Apple provided a reason to the developer and/or publisher of the game. The public has nothing to do with it so no reason needs to be provided to the public. The public is certainly free to assume whatever they want, but that means nothing as far as reality is concerned until there's actual information to support it one way or another. What of Apple found that somewhere under the hood the app was sending some personal data back or doing something else of that nature and that's why it was pulled? And there you go.Its censorship because they haven't explained why they've taken it down. Without a legitimate reason (ie. some features are broken), especially with an app focused on potentially illegal activity, every man and his dog is going to assume this is censorship.
Until Apple provide a reason (which they never will btw), in my mind it was censorship. Because it clearly was. You must be blind not to see it.

If by not jumping to random conclusions without any actual information and going off based on those imaginary conclusions is due to some koolaid, then, sure I'll keep on drinking it, and hopefully so will other rational people who actually would like to have the necessary information about something before actually jumping on something or someone.Keep drinking the coolaide!![]()
FBI chief says anti-marijuana policy hinders the hiring of cyber experts
James Comey, the FBI director, says the bureau's no-tolerance marijuana policy is hindering the hiring of cyber-security experts. Comey added that he is "grappling" with possibly changing the practice.
From the App Store Review Guidelines:
I haven't played to game so I don't know if excessive consumption of marijuana is encouraged, but otherwise they should be fine if the game is just about the growing/selling portion of it and you don't see people actually smoking tons of weed. After all, maybe customers will not actually smoke it and just buy it for the sake of it.
A more effective solution however might be to add a couple medical signs to suggest it's a medical marijuana business, which wouldn't make it an "illegal substance" in that context.
What of Apple found that somewhere under the hood the app was sending some personal data back or doing something else of that nature and that's why it was pulled? And there you go.
Well, speculation is speculation, nothing to it.That was exactly my point! If it is that, then all good, well done Apple for pulling it. But since neither Apple or the developer (or anybody) has communicated anything to fans of the game, everybody is going to assume censorship. Probably because, it is censorship.
It isn't as if Apple have never done it before with their iron fist on top of their app store. If news comes out in a week or so that I'm wrong then so be it, I'm wrong. But until proven otherwise, my guess is as good as yours. And I'm with the majority on this forum, its censorship because kids might find out what a marijuana is.
You must think "getting high" is just a mindset and not the result of a chemical process. Gosh.
