Anyone who is anyone knows 3.7" is the ideal smartphone display size, your set of options totally leaves a critical gap.

I will be sticking with my 5S until next year. Hopefully Apple will upgrade he 4" next year and offer three sizes. I just didn't like my 6.

IMHO i agree.

For years they ignore the big phone crowd and still have great sales numbers showing a definite need for small phones. Then they ignore that demographic completely and come out with two large screened phones. Really should have been 3 sizes with similar internals. A mini, a standard and a plus.

Of course we don't need Apple going the Samsung route and release the same phone with 10 different names (their new one is the Samsung Galaxy Alpha???) over the course of a year, but Apple really should have launched the iPhone 6 with 3 models, to give different people with different needs, different options:

iPhone 6 Nano: 4.0" 16GB only ($199)

iPhone 6 Classic: 4.7" 16GB ($249) & 32GB ($349)

iPhone 6 Plus: 5.5" 64GB ($399) & 128GB ($499)

Lots of flaws with yours model. Why would last years technology with the smaller screen be the current price of Apple's 6? Also, the "nano" and "classic" moniker are dead and on their way out. No reason the current 6 prices should be increased either.

5C and 5S should be cut, since the 6 mini would basically be the 5S, and there's no need for 4 iPhone models..

iPhone 6 Mini: 4.0" 16Gb (Free), 32Gb ($99)
iPhone 6: 4.7" 32GB ($199), 64GB ($299), 128GB ($399)
iPhone 6 Plus: 5.5" 32Gb ($299), 64GB ($399), 128GB ($499)

I think the same. There are people with very small hands or ladies that the iphone 6 is too big

No. I bought one of the 3.5" screen, Lightning, with 2KB of storage, and the apps are too big. Also, when I break it, it breaks. I know I sound like an idiot, but this is unnacceptable because I spent money, and Steve would have never allowed this to happen.

The 6 Mini wouldn't be the 5s, it would be the 6 Mini. It should also come with 64/128GB options*. This isn't about the cost, it's about the form factor. There'd be no reason to discontinue the 5c as the 'budget' option.

* I'm probably displaying complete ignorance of storage in assuming that a 128GB module is physically no larger than a 32GB module.

While I don't agree with the OPs naming or space allocations, after handling an iPhone 6 I have to agree that Apple should have kept the previous size in the lineup with new internals.

Agreed. Would have been nice for those who don't want a larger screen, but want a new iPhone.

No, I want a 5.6" screen with 312 KB of storage! How can Apple not make this? :D

I know my wife would have preferred the 4" version, and I think Apple would have benefited from the third 4" model. Additional, they could have 'tested' the sales mix of different sized products before hand before completely axing the 4" model. You get to capture the people who think 4" was plenty (my wife for instance), people would really needed a bigger 4.7" screen (like me), and those who wanted a phablet.

So you want only 2 storage sizes for iPhone 6 and 6+, and you want the 5s to be renamed iPhone nano?...

I hope Apple listens to you so I can pay $50 more for my 4.7" phone.

But it would virtually be the 5S in terms of size, is what I was getting at. I think Apple should also underlock the 6 Mini and overclock the 6 plus

There might be a smaller one during the "transition" period and it will be very profitable since it will reuse the 5s internals, A8 once the new chip comes around next year, and the :apple:pay to increase Apple's comission.

Your prices are too low however.

iPhone 6 Nano: 3.2" 32/64/128/256GB

iPhone 6 Micro: 4.0" 32/64/128/256GB

iPhone 6 Classic: 4.7" 32/64/128/256GB

iPhone 6 Plus: 5.5" 32/64/128/256GB

This is what I would like to see. Specifically a real nano sized phone, 3.2" like the HTC Aria/Liberty.
