Only when you don't like hearing the a separate opinion is it trollin'.
But your opinion is based on a complete understanding of the facts. It's like if you said "apple missed an opportunity. They should have included anti-gravity units in the MacBook Pro so it can float. Since they didn't, it's a worthless brick."

There was no way to support more memory given the chips Intel is selling them right now. And no way at all to support dynamic ram resizing.

yeah like try-on this truth-bomb for size, drones:

the new macbook pros are such BRICKS that, as a test, WWE Raw tried to use them as props for when people hit each other with chairs, instead of chairs

and the wrestlers refuse to even TOUCH them because the MacBooks are so slow that they make wrestlers' muscles disappear when they touch these BRICKS

pro wrestlers refuse to use them because they're not pro! they're GARBAGEBOXES

just smash your computer and then you'll be so much happier

it's painful to even think about you primates using these primative machines to do your monkey work

Yeah he's just trying to get more response. Stick with it, 16GB is enough for a good 90% of users.

they're such bricks that:

you order one

it comes in the mail

but in the box is like, leftover chinese food

and you're kinda hungry but like you don't even know who's leftovers it is

and you're like, why did i spend $3786 on this ?

but like, the computer is SO BAD (the leftover-chinese-food-computer) that its slowness causes you to forget you even paid apple for it in the first place

BOOM

apple trades you old leftover chinese food for $3786

you go on with your life, none the wiser

Trollin, trollin, trollin...oh my butt is swollen, rawhide!
Dude is schizophrenic!!!
How about another one from another thread:

Vocal trolls = professionals?
I'm a professional and I like the new MBP. I do programming for a living I have 31 tabs in one chrome window, another 2 chrome windows with 7 and 9 tabs, slack, notes, Sketch, Zeplin, a VM for development and a VM for Windows testing, Atom and iTerm all open on my 16GB machine now. Try again.;)

As a comp sci student, who also did some video editing, I don't get why you need 32GB of RAM. If your work dictates more than 16GB, I suggest getting a proper desktop workstation as both the mobile CPU and mobile GPU would be the next bottleneck.

lol, OP claims computer is unusable because you can't spec it higher than 16Gb, then cites the iPad Pro as the future, with it's memory of...you know...2Gb

The answer is simple, the chipset doesn't support low powered memory over 16GB and apple made a decision that for the majority of customers, they would rather have 10 hours of battery instead of 32GB of ram.

Clearly the MBP is not for you (its not for me either), but that doesn't mean its an expensive brick, words like that will detract from have a mature intelligent debate on why apple didn't do it.

Maybe they should just cut their loses with the Mac and go all in on iProducts.
And yet Apple is stating that they're enjoying phenomenal sales, why do something as silly as that, because they did not make a computer for your specific needs, but rather for the general public

In defence; the 12.9" iPad Pro has 4GB RAM not 2.
Not only that but iOS handles RAM exceptionally well.
It also has a decent screen resolution of 2,048 x 2,732 screen, powered by the A9X 2.26GHz dual-core processor.

I use mine just like a laptop but I wouldn't have it replace my older MacBook Pro today.

iOS has more limitations which is why the ram is less of an issue, with MBP you're doing a lot more multitasking then the iPad could ever hope to do.

I agree.... and that is why I said it handles RAM exceptionally well.

I also said I would not have my Pro replace my 2015 MacBook Pro today.

I don't get why Apple didn't put 32GB into the new MBP or at least something higher than 16GB to show they are doing something. It seems like they could've beefed up the touch bar with 4 or 8GB of ram and then used the touch bar to provide additional ram on an as needed basis when 16GB isn't enough. I feel like they missed an opportunity here. I will say though that the iPad Pro line of products is surprisingly stable. Maybe they should just cut their loses with the Mac and go all in on iProducts.
What do you really do that needs more than 16 gb of ram? (SERIOUS QUESTION)
