iPod touch Apple releases 32GB iPod Touch

great . . . i get the 16 gig touch literally 12 hours ago and now the 32 gig comes out today . . . do i return it and get the 32 gig or do i stick with the 16? My world has come crashing down FAST
 
Well, is it worth 100 dollars to double your capacity?
If no, then keep.
If yes, then return.
 
I ordered a 16gb touch yesterday from Amazon. Luckily enough I was able to cancel it this morning.

Guess it is a good thing I didn't just pick it up at the Apple Store on my way home...
 
Stupid UK prices.

Guess i'll be waiting a long time until they come down in price. Or ebay, one or the other.
 
Darn, I've had my Touch about 1.5 months...would've gotten a 32 GB, didn't think it would come out till September.
 
I bought the 16gig Touch at Costco about three weeks ago. My receipt says I have 90 to return it, so I'm thinking about returning it for the new model.
 
i only have 750 songs or so and will keep up to date with my syncing . . . do you guys still think its worth it just for the future and stuff?
 
OMG! I must have! I guess I'll be updating my touch later on, need more space for more tv shows/movies :D
 
Well, great. This is what I've been waiting for. My 5G 30GB iPod is still chugging along quite well, but I've been lusting over the Touch. Seeing as I can easily fit everything on my 30GB iPod, I've been holding off until I can do the same with the Touch.

Damn you Steve Jobs and your fancy-dancy, shiny gadgets that I must buy.

I thought I was the ruler of all civilization with my JB 1.1.3 16 GB iTouch.
People came up to me and asked, "woah.. what is THAT. how come mine doesnt look like THAT. is that a 16 GB? nice..."

and now you slam me down with this new 32 GB iTouch.
People gonna be like "woah... what is THAT. how come mine doesnt look like THAT. is that a 32GB? no?! PSSSSSSSSSSSH"

Steve Jobs, you know how us iTouch/iPhone/iMac early adopters are like. We cant stand not having the most capable device you conjure up in your secret laboratories.

All i'm saying is give us a heads up. Be like "yo. imma drop a 32 GB big daddy iTouch in Feb. so dont buy a 16 or 8 GB iTouch in January."

you're gonna get our money anyways. its not like we're like "oh man, 32 GB iTouch is coming out next month, so I'm gonna go buy a Zune now."

If you dont want to say it publically, give us a wink or smth. A head scratch. A code word. SOMETHING to indicate to those who dish out hundreds of $$$ saved over months to get your products the instant they launch.
 
Lets call it like it is... $525.00 it will cost you in reality. Not worth it to me, especially since I got my 16gb for $320.00. I had a 32gb ipod 5th generation and I barley used up half the capacity. 16gb is plenty for me. I'm more excited over the SDK release!!
 
When will these be available at the retailers? I don't see it on any of their websites yet (Circuit City, Best Buy, Amazon...)
 
Why was there no word of this at Macworld? This actually pisses me off pretty bad. I bought the 16G on Jan. 15th right after the show and now this comes out...
 
It costs $999 to add a 64 GB flash drive to a MacBook Air. So a $499 iPod Touch with 32 GB feels like the right price to me.
