Why would they release 11.2 to developers before 11.1 is even released? Shouldn’t the fixes and features just be put into 11.1 since it’s not even out yet?

Either way I hope it stops my 6S from randomly freezing 2-3 times a day and needing a force restart, which started after the iOS 11 update.
If more things are added to 11.1 later into the cycle then it would need more development and testing and wouldn't be released much longer. At some post releases need to come out so work on newer things goes into the next release.

Warning! Don’t update if you don’t want hell when restoring to your iPhone X on Friday! You won’t be able to and have to set it up as new, get on 11.2 beta, then finally restore from your old phone!

Sound advice... always a pain. Had this when I was on 11.1 beta and had to swap my 8 Plus with Apple.....

which takes about what, 20-30 minutes? I don't consider that hell. My 7 Plus just installed this beta in 10 minutes...

Didn't someone in the 11.x.x release speculation thread say that this was coming out today? I wanna say I remember thinking to myself, "No way that's true." Welp whomever you are, sir or madam, I'd like to know where you're getting your good info from ;)

This is crazy. 11.2 Beta when 11.1 hasn’t even publicly released yet.

I’m on 11.1 Beta but since my iPhone X is on the way, I think I’ll refrain from updating until I transfer everything over.
