Issue now sorted. Used iMazing to reinstall software. Never used feature before. Very nice. Reinstalls without deleting all your data.

Anyone seeing an issue where the Calendar app doesn’t show birthdays?

Open the Calendar app and select Calendars and untick Birthdays.

Close the Calendar app and unload from memory i.e. press the home button twice and swipe up the Calendar app. Wait 30 seconds

Re-open the Calendar app and select Calendars and reselect Birthdays.

All the birthdays will appear like magic !

I do not have this problem. If you haven’t yet, try erasing everything then doing an iCloud restore on your watch.
