Apple Releases First Beta of iOS 4.1 and iPhone SDK 4.1

Do they even put out developer seeds for x.y.1 updates? I know they do for x.1 updates.

The point of seeding is to give developers a "heads up" about new and changed APIs.

x.y.1 -style releases are typically bug-fix releases, and therefore developers do not need a preview

I want to see the following fixed.

SMS/MMS over Wi-Fi while in Airplane mode.

SMS/MMS work over your celluar line, they don't use internet. They will never work over WiFi.

Well... iOS 3.2 was iPad. Maybe iOS 4.2 will also be iPad

The iPhone 4 is already jailbroken. The developers are just waiting until it's more refined before releasing it.

Reception and dropped calls

Better folders

Better multitasking deletion

Ability to have different wallpapers for different pages

Stop the annoying bookmarks from popping up on a cleared Safari page

Better MobileMe integration
