@TheYayAreaLiving 🎗️ Testing on my older 12.9 ipad pro that is now just sitting around LOL will be fun but not worried about my main ipad now. No way on my iPhoneHopefully, performance and stability is the major focus of these OS updates.
Downloading it now on my old gen 3 12.9 iPad Pro so I can testI rebooted and they came back with dev beta 17 as an option
What about side loading? Any word on that?
I saw on mine it kept changing, beta was there, then it wasn't. Then it came back. Didn't have to reboot or anything. Then finally 17 popped up. Downloading now.Mine was on beta as well now just says on beta update just has iOS 16 beta not 17
Will those not need to be verified server side?Just wait a few hours for the IPSW
This. The only feature that would make me install beta version of this boring iOS release. We have the groundbreaking visionOS, but I bet iCloud Mail in iOS still can't sync read status and badge notifications.
I downloaded and installed iOS 17 Dev beta without a Dev account, no, I am not lying, been using Dev profiles for ages, it still works for me.Registered developers are able to opt into the betas by opening up the Settings app, going to the Software Update section, tapping on the "Beta Updates" option, and toggling on the iOS 16 Developer Beta. Note that an Apple ID associated with a developer account is required to download and install the beta.
I imagine you should be able to do the old DFU restore method to downgrade. Unless they have changed something.Wonder if we can rollback to 16.6 after installing 17 on iphones......hmmmmm
