ah, I don't get viruses on my Windows 7 (or XP, or Vista) machines (6 ea.) either. geez, you act like everyone without an Apple device MUST have viruses. I've been computing since 1985 and while I had a couple decades ago, I haven't had a virus in so long I can't count the years. you might want to stop with the "apple is so superior" attitude.
Sorry if people attitude comes across as superior but just consider these points
1) Just because you have used computers since the early days (and so have I, and I mean before windows came on the seen, I still remember those dreaded start up menus! Thank goodness there was the Amiga and Atari back then, and that was a war that made the mac vs pc look like a childish spat) does not mean your opinion is any more valid than anyone elses.
2) You are on a MAC FORUM ! Most people here love Mac
3) Most of us have also had to endure PCs sometime in our lives, so we are not completely clueless about them, WE JUST DON'T LIKE THEM! (that is until Macs take over the world !!!!!

)
4) Just because you cannot see any affects of a virus does not mean to say it is not there! I still use a virus program even though I am on a Mac as I don't want to be the first to find that someone has broken through
5) Using PCs at work, the one thing that really annoys me with them is just using the horid things slows them down over time to a slow crawl, and as most companies go for the lowest spec possible to keep costs down, that is usually sooner rather than later. I would say Mac or PC..MAX THE RAM!!!!
There now I feel better and I tamed the flame thrower to medium roast for you

I hope the gentle toasting has had you feel a little more warm to us.
Have a good one
