C should be welcomed as El Capitan has already surpassed Yosemite in terms of stability.
Go to your Purchased Apps and you should see "OS X El Capitan GM Candidate" or something like that, download/install it and the 10.11.1 PB1 should appear in the Update section![]()
I went to the App Store but nothing came up and my Mac is enrolled but keeps saying No Updates Available... What can I do?
Check the system preference > App store> tick the box Pre-release software option ... its the mid-section of the App Store of the System Preferences..
There's no point to giving the public a beta point update when they have to install a final GM. Developers are enough for testing the point updates. The public beta program should be only for previewing and testing major releases.
Well, it's not that way so your comment was necessary how?
And that reply to an opinion is necessary how?
Because apparently you came here to be some sort of killjoy, when the forum has nothing to do with who you think the beta should be for... Let me guess you have a developers account?
I actually did notice that, but when I hit "install" it warned me that OS X 10.11 is already installed. Should I do it anyway?
I don't know why these beta threads generate so much tension....
But anyway, I'm on the GM version of OS X 10.11 now, and thought I was off the beta train and then today, I get a message telling me there's this beta pending installation for my new Mac.
Does this get reported as a bug?
Did you un-enroll via Beta.apple.com and turn off Pre-release software updates inside of Appstore via Software Preferences?
Need to do both to fully un-enroll from the Beta program..I just turned off the pre-release software updates.. inadequate?
Same here in Colorado, and it's 6:30 pm. Anyone...Has it showed up for anybody? I have the dreaded "no updates available" I am here in California.
