I work in software testing, and the full config of your system including unexpected interactions from loaded software can impact a wide range of things. I go with incremental builds, too, where as other people might get different results from a clean install. What about those of us not having trouble? What makes us different from those who are? I have a GMail account, an iCloud email account, and a Yahoo email account all working perfectly well with El Capitan. I didn’t lose any folders, any archived mail, none of the reported problems others have.
Things like this have always fascinated me.
Has anyone who was having Mail problems seen an improvement in 10.11.2?
There are several different problems people have had with Mail in 10.11 so far, me included. I'm just looking for a working version of the appI don't think Mail has seen any significant improvements in the last 10 years and I'm not sure they will ever get any ever again.
We are so lucky to have ThunderSkunkThat's because you need a Mac with Intel Skylake. ThunderSkunk said so.
Just install the release version of 10.11.1 first. So it seems you have to update from the 1st build of 10.11.1 beta to the 2nd(?) build of 10.11.1 before you can get the update for 10.1.2 beta?
Thanks, didn't knew thatThat's because you need a Mac with Intel Skylake. ThunderSkunk said so.
I guess MR have been slowing down, hasn't it?Finally Mac news!! I was beginning to feel worried.
you got early release.Hey Guys, today I decided to do a fresh install of 10.11.1 via the recovery partition. What it installed is 10.11.2 with a build number 15C30 not the 27b. I am guessing this is the final release that got into the apple installer by mistake?
Wait, this is a good thing. You can check to see if there's anything wrong in that version.I guess I'm gonna try to roll back to Yosemite, not sure I like having 10.11.2 (15C30), could be full of bugs. I still don't know how I got that version of El Cap.
Overall I think, El Cap way better than anything else since (but exclusively) SL. Slowly, the system becomes better and better. The UI is clean and fast, the core tech is solid. What more do I want. Give it two more dot updates and the step forward will have been worth it.
Whats the point in being an OS X Developer these days when we can all run the latest builds? HAPPY DAYS![]()
Apple today seeded the first beta of OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan to public beta testers, just days after releasing the first beta to developers and just over a week after the public launch of OS X El Capitan 10.11.1.
The new beta is available through the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store to those who are enrolled in Apple's beta testing program. Those wishing to join the program can sign up on Apple's beta testing website.

It's not yet known what improvements the latest update to OS X El Capitan will bring, but it's likely to include bug fixes, security enhancements, and performance improvements to address issues discovered since the release of OS X 10.11.1. Apple's release notes for the first developer beta asked testers to focus on Graphics, Wi-Fi, Calendar, USB, Notes, Photos, and Spotlight.

YES PLEASE. So I can stop using iPhoto.I hope the update includes a fix to be able to drag and drop from Photos. Since I installed El Capitan I can no longer do this. For example to send a picture by mail I have to open mail and then attach the picture, also can not move to desktop or external disk. Really horrible problem that I wish is solved with this update
