Hi Public Beta tester! Macrumors forum commenter, here

I deleted my public beta profile yesterday, but when I do to download it again, it shows as text in Safari and does not prompt for profile installation.

Public Beta 3
Reinstall beta profile to your device. It will restart and then you will see public beta 9.1 as an available software update.

Have the fixed the CHAPTER TITLES and IN CHAPTER SCRUBBING in audio books yet, which has been "designed out" since iOS6?

The issue was that installing the profile would not work and the apple site would show the text of the profile rather than try and install it. Turned out to be a pesky restriction issue, disabling it allowed the profile to install correctly.

Keep getting those stupid "update beta now" type messages but no dp for me. I'm on a dev account and still on dp beta 5

Back in the day I loved alpha/beta testing. I just don't have time for that stuff any more and leave it to you younguns. Please test thoroughly for me so I can have the rock solid release versions. Thank you!

I think its interesting that you can install a profile for watchOS, but can't actually install a beta/GM of watchOS 2 without a dev account. Or, am I missing something?

Can one OTA upgrade to that from 8.4.1?

(would like to skip the restore/backup process with a full 64GB iPhone)

I've only played with 9.1 for about five minutes but I can already tell it's much smoother than the GM on my 6+, which is probably about 3 weeks old at this point (having to be installed on 6ses to prepare for launch).

Serves me right for rushing in. :(

iOS 9 PB-3 was absolutely smooth on iPad Air 2, however 9.1 not so much.
Couldn't even sign in to iCloud because of the overall lag.

Anyone else facing similar issue?

no more beta testing for me... apps not working, phone crashing / restarting, strange random bugs, etc. I've learned my lesson and wont submit to be a guinea pig again.

If I download 9.1, can I send the new emojis to people with iOS 8 or 9.0 and they'll be able to see it??
