I downloaded it. Been a few months since I saw iOS 9 (since WWDC)... I forgot how boring and unchanged it was!... but hey! they finally fixed it so I can take pictures with flash in the messages app quick photo button!... only took them an entire new OS number to fix it.

dumb question.. for those running beta, are you able to upgrade to iOS 9 official/regular version once it is released on the 16th? or do we need to restore the phone to get the official iOS 9...?

My understanding is we'll just get another update that says iOS 9.0 and nothing about public beta. But it won't hurt to backup and restore your phone on the 16th. Also if you don't want to receive the iOS 9.1 betas. Delete the beta profile.

I don't understand. iOS 9 is not released yet but they are pushing betas of 9.1?
There's something that 9.0 needs but is too late to drop in to the phones currently being boxed.

Well, I used the word "needs" but it probably much more benign than that. Could be as simple as a certification addition in the legal section.

Back in the day I loved alpha/beta testing. I just don't have time for that stuff any more and leave it to you younguns. Please test thoroughly for me so I can have the rock solid release versions. Thank you!
Back in the day the Public beta program didn't exist. More stable releases than DP.

I installed 9.1 and when i plugged in to itunes to sync it wont let me because im running an older version of itunes. My Mac is running osx 10.6.8 and I have vst plug ins that aren't compatible with el Capitan. It won't allow me to update iTunes on my Mac. I hope that next week apple releases an update for iTunes for those like me that are running an older osx software. any work arounds for this?

Guys, can someone try and advise if Whatsap works with this 9.1 PB1? Because with the developer preview 9.1 it does not.

hmm do you guys think that if we, PB testers, are getting the 9.1 beta, we´ll get the 9.0 GM?
