It makes absolutely no sense why a beta should be more stable than the release. They could potentially work on iOS 9 until release day.. And release 9.0 for the iPhone 6 and down. And just drop 9.0.1 for 6s and up on release day..
That way. Millions of phones already sold will have fewer problems.. Less need for a 9.0.1 emergency update. And just overall better quality

Apple Music fixes included?
Everything works fine with Apple Music except syncing new changes in your iCloud Music Library (owned music)...I still have to add an Apple Music track for the library to update itself to the current state in my iTunes. Other than that, everything else works just fine. :)

Any updates on wireless CarPlay via bluetooth on aftermarket (Pioneer?) head units?
I would like to be wrong but I don't think wireless CarPlay can be added to those old units. I have a 4000nex. Bluetooth bandwidth is theoretically enough to do it but I would have thought wireless CarPlay would rely on wifi. I'll certainly follow up if I discover otherwise. Installing 9.1 beta now.

Not right now but I believe that it would require a firmware update from pioneer regardless. Now the odds of pioneer supporting said feature on the other hand...

Audio books fixed? Since updating to 9 beta the audio book app on head sph-da120 unit is empty I guess because the iOS has moved them into iBooks
