Apple Releases iOS 10.0.3 for iPhone 7 With Cellular Connectivity Bug Fix

Got the update, still getting having the "1x to no service" issue at random times. How is bug this even possible?
damn, and here I thought it was because put my old sim car from my 6S in.
I jumped off the iphone upgrade program because Apple/Vzw wanted to move me to the $49 a month unlimited plan, off my $29 a month contract. When I said no, they said theres no way around it. I instead bought the phone outright, and just inserted my sim car. voila, still $29 a month.
Sold the old one for what I owed on it and came out $20 a month better till my contract runs out next oct.

Got the 7+ today on ORANGE RO . After setting up the sim and updating to 10.0.3, i got "could not initialize data" ' a reboot fixed the issue, but really Apple, first impression after 3g,,4,4s,5,5s,6,6s ... 7 could not initialize my 10 gb 4g data plan for the start 
I know i might be "burned" for this but i feel my new 7+ feels slower than my old 6s . Wtf?
Don't get me wrong, i love the 7+ , my first + but it really feels like a - compared to 6s.

Received a phone calł today on my AT&T iPhone 7 Plus and the phone never rang at despite 4 bars of LTE. The only reason I know I got a call is because my iPad has Wifi calling on my phone's number and that rang. My phone didn't.

I had the same exact thing happen to me yesterday. At this point, I am assuming an issue with iOS10, as I have an AT&T iPhone 5 (yes, it's over 4 years old) and just upgraded to iOS10 a few days ago. Yesterday, I had multiple phone calls which never rang, but register as missed calls. I then tried to dial out and it wouldn't work. A reboot solved the issue, but so far I'm really not pleased with iOS10 stability. Am about to pull the trigger on a new 7+ or 6s+, but all the issues people are reporting on connectivity are making me consider android options instead. Too bad since I've been on both systems and generally praise Apple. But reliable connectivity is the #1 thing a phone needs to do right. If you mess that up, then it shouldn't be called a "phone".
The thing for me is that the call didn't even register as a missed call. It's like it never happened.
I had the Verizon problem on my 7 Plus and installed the update. Yesterday, I was in a new location and attempted a call, the screen seemed to go dark for a minute and no response to the call going through. The person called did confirm that the call went through but no one at the other end. Think there is still a major problem. Will try a total reset.
My 4.7 iPhone 7 (10.0.3) did this this morning. I woke up my phone and slid a notification to where it gives you the clear option and then the screen went black and the wheel started spinning then it went to the home screen. My battery usage and standby time went to the lines so I had to plug my phone back into get them back to 0. I checked the diagnostics and usage and there was a springboard crash. First time I've seen this! Also I noticed long long lists of jetsam events for the past few days. I mean a lot! I thought the 2GB of ram was supposed to help with memory! My iPhone 6 on 9.3.5 would have maybe 1 or 2 jetsam events a day not 15-25 like my iPhone 7!! I think there are quite a few bugs to work out!
Try going to AT&T for a new SIM card. I had issues with mine not staying on LTE. Went there to find out that Apple has a backlog of old SIM cards from older phones that they're still using (ones meant for the 5 and 5s) that aren't compatible with certain features, like voice over LTE and LTE Avadanced. It's worth a try and they swapped mine free.
I get Springboard crashes on my 7 Plus at least once a week. Usually when trying to open the Notification Center.
I noticed that mine was on 1x last night in an area where LTE normally would be available, so I guess mine isn't fixed either.
Have Tmobile, Iphone 7. Can't stay on the network Edge to 4G connectivity next to my wife's HTC no issues at 4G LTE. Went through all the troubleshooting steps and now they are offering to replace the phone. Really hope this is a hardware and not a software issue.
I have to return my iPhone 7 plus. Cellular connectivity is a mess. 5 bars, then no bars, then 1 bar, then no internet. Happens very quickly too. No software fix corrected issue.

Another iPhone 6S user here with problems. I *think* they started on iOS 10.0.1, weren't fixed by 10.0.2 so went to the beta 10.1 versions and still have the problem. I frequently have No Service, drop calls, can't make calls, incoming calls go straight to voicemail and generally cellular connectivity is a real mess.
I've tried resetting network settings and done a full restore back to factory defaults.
I'm a UK user on BT Mobile (which uses EE's network). My phone has no option to turn off LTE voice.
My phone is virtually unusable to the point that I've had to swap back to an old Android handset which is working fine, so no SIM or network issue involved. Apple really need to acknowledge this for earlier models than its flagship iPhone 7
