Apple today released the second official update to the iOS 10 operating system, nearly one month after releasing iOS 10.0.2 and a month and a half after providing the new iOS 10 operating system to the public. iOS 10.0.3 comes ahead of iOS 10.1, a more significant update that brings a Portrait mode depth-of-field effect to the iPhone 7 Plus.

iOS 10.0.3 can be downloaded as an over-the-air update on all iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus devices.

Today's update includes a fix for a bug that could cause issues with cellular connectivity, a problem that only affected the new iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. Shortly after the iPhone 7 was released, a number of Verizon users began experiencing a serious issue that caused them to regularly lose LTE connectivity on their new device. It was later discovered that the issue affected iPhone 7 and 7 Plus devices associated with other carriers as well, and it should now be fixed for all users.

iOS 10 is a major update that includes features like a redesigned Lock screen experience, a revamped Messages app with a full App Store, a Siri SDK for developers, new looks and features for Maps and Apple Music, and tons more. Make sure to check out our iOS 10 roundup for details.

I wonder if this is just for iPhone 7 line of phones given that there are references to other bug/security fixes.

Let me know when they fix the safari keyboard issues instead, hopefully the next 10.1 beta or final release. However this is a serious issue that did need fixing.

Does it fix the problem where backups can be decrypted easier than before?

I know that betas 2 & 3 have performed better on my iPhone 7 than 10.0.1 or 10.1 beta 1 but they haven't been perfect. I'm certainly hoping that the next beta contains whatever is fixed in 10.0.3...or there will hopefully be more improvements to come.

I was/am on Beta 3 and VZ speeds were slow as hell. Ported out to AT&T and no issues since. Interested if the issue has been resolved, specifically looking for consistent speeds.

Can someone confirm the Carrier version for VZ

This should've been caught in beta before shipping to customers.

Is this fix already incorporated into 10.1 beta?

Let us know how it goes! I was one of the many to adopt iOS 10 within the first hour of being released. I've definitely learned my lesson, so now I'll wait for someone else to try it out first!

It seems like the update references other bug fixes as well as security fixes, so it's a bit odd that it's not being released for other devices (unless all those fixes are somehow only specific to iPhone 7 line of phones).
