Is there going to be a fix for iPhone 6. Since downloading the iOS 10.0.2 beta I have been having problems connecting to network. I have tried downgrading and updating through iTunes, deleting beta profile, removing sim and resetting network settings l. Nothing is working.i may get connection for a few hours during the day and then it drops.

That really sucks cause iPhone 6 is having similar issues with network connectivity. Don't know why they didn't consider us

Because you're using a beta. Apparently you didn't bother to read the beta agreement but it makes it VERY clear that they don't have to provide fixes while in beta. That's not how betas work.

By running the beta, you agreed that you would NOT install it on your primary device.

You also agreed not to discuss the beta software and its functionality outside of Apple. By even bringing it up here you're not only in violation of that agreement but open to law suit from Apple at this point.

Where's is there anything about betas in any of that?

That said, when it comes to betas, are saying that's how it is with public betas (given the public nature of them)?

They downloaded the beta (public or developer doesn't matter). Beta software should be understood to have bugs and not function without flaws. Anyone that can't understand that is not only too stupid to run a beta but likely a phone in general.

You can still restore to 9.3.5 today.

I actually cancelled the beta, downgraded and upgraded to the regular iOS 10.0.2 and it's still not working. I have tried contacting appl several times and can't seem to get a response from them.

yeah. Going to have to do that

Did not fix my iPhone 7plus "no service" issues on at&t. Very frustrated. Genius's said it was known issue and to wait for an update. This was not it.

Didn't fix mine, either... I am going to head over to the Genius bar at some point soon and see if maybe my phone needs to be replaced... I've had basically no signal for almost two weeks.

The thing is that the user mentioned 10.0.2 (although beta was mentioned after it, there is no 10.0.2 beta as it's just a final public release), and now this thread is about 10.0.3--none are beta releases.

And, again, that aside, nothing really wrong with people discussing if a fix might be included or perhaps coming in a beta update for some version.

So are you having issues with iOS 10.0.2?

I've got the 7+ 256GB on the Verizon network. It appears that 10.0.3 has solved my very frustrating phone call issues. I've had about a dozen calls since doing the upgrade and so far so good. My phone will have a lot of use tomorrow, so I feel that will be a better test.

ever since I got my iPhone 7 plus, when I try to send a text message or an iMessage, it says message failed to send and usually I retry and it goes through , is this some kind of a bug in IOS 10? Hopefully it gets resolved soon as this is very annoying, every other text I send almost every day says failed to send and I need to click retry,

I tried disabling iMessage and waiting for a few minutes and then re enabling iMessage but still the same,

I never had this problem on my iPhone 6S, and this happens when I send out texts to numerous people , it's not a problem with just one recipient

Since iOs 10.0.3 came out today for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus i was hopeful it would fix this issue im having but the problem still presists, its like some messages go through but every other text returns with a message failed to send and i have to click retry and then it goes through

He stated he has an iPhone 6. The 6 will not run 10.0.2. He clearly is running the current 10.1 beta so everything I've stated applies.

Didn't work for me. Still keep getting 1x.

Meant 10.0.3
The user mentioned being on 10.0.2 and wondering about the changes in 10.0.3. Beta doesn't seem to really factor into that, unless there's something more to what the user mentioned given that there are some mentions of beta, although potentially as a mistake of some sort.

After the update?

Yep. Installed it this evening and after heading to dinner with a friend it went to 1x. Spotify stopped and just for the heck of it I waited to see how long it would sit there. It stayed at 1x the entire time until we met up and I had to force it to LTE with airplane mode reset.

One thing I noticed is after the update my LTE dropped to nothing when I went off wifi. I powered off the device and powered it back on again and everything went to normal (just enabling / disabling airplane mode did not help).

Sounds like this was a good first step in fixing this bug. I was in hopes it was going to be a resounding success. I am limping along on my iPhone and i want a new 7. I can't have connectivity issues. It would drive me crazy.

I purchased an iPhone 7 Verizon model A1660 (or, as shown in Settings, model MNAJ2LL/A) but for use on AT&T's network. Essentially, I obtained the A1660 to maximize flexibility in case I wanted to move my service to Verizon, or sell it to someone in the future who does. Anyway, the point is I've been using this model successfully from day of purchase on AT&T's network after transferring my old SIM from an iPhone 6. Now, that said, I have seen a couple instances where the iPhone 7 showed only "4G" coverage -- not LTE -- but I was geographically located in an area of questionable [to me] AT&T coverage. I've not yet updated to 10.0.3. I typically wait a little bit to see if the braver, on-the-bleeding edge souls uncover problems before I do an update ;)

NO ... as part of the 10.0.1 that we were forced to upgrade to immediately upon activating our new 7s

Because it wasn't discovered until people in the wild had iPhone 7 or 7 Plus units in their hands? It's incredibly hard to fix a bug that hasn't been discovered yet. In fact, when it does (rarely) happen, it is guaranteed to be by accident.

Again, this is a bug that only manifested on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
