I lost it in 10.1B3. But Apple was convinced it was user error. Lost over a years worth of data. Had to start over. Really POd that they are now admitting fault. Both iCloud backup and iTunes encrypted backup failed to recover lost data due to this bug.
I seem to remember you stating the data was there in your backups but just could not import it or open it? This states "could not be viewed" so potentially that would say the data was there just could not be seen. Be interested to see if you can now see your info (maybe would need to restore an old backup tho)

I found that you have to uninstall the iOS Beta profile and restart phone to get the new 10.1.1 OTA update to show.

My Tier 2 support rep emailed me yesterday telling me a fix was on the way for my issue. Engineers were able to extract the data from my iCloud backup and view it. So this would have fixed the issue, but too late now as I have already started over. My iCloud account was in troubleshooting mode so they could use my backup files.

Doesn't it seem like apple has so many bug updates lately? I feel like im on my ps4 and every update is to increase stability.
iOS 9 had three updates during September and October, iOS 10 has four updates in the same time period. That is not yet a meaningful difference. And I much prefer that they fix a specific issue that affects enough people quickly with a sort-of single-fix update than letting it fester for weeks until the next 'major' update.

Not doing it. My battery life is finally not sucking terribly on my 6+ which is something I haven't had for a while. I'll just hold on to 10.1.0 for as long as I can.

Did anyone else also randomly not receive a notifications from the Message app on 10.1? It seemed to happen randomly for me...

Does this address the lack of snappiness in safari? Serious question. Ever since the last update, my ipad's safari doesn't load certain pages like even macrumors and i have to keep refreshing until it "just works"
Actually now that you mention it, I've noticed when I try to go to a website it will sometimes stay on the previous one. After refreshing a few times it finally loads the new website I'm trying to go to.

This is linked to another issue with APNS. There is a 18+ page thread about email push issues. The issue is now effecting iMessages as well.

Sorry to hear that. I would be extremely annoyed by that as well. I have a Garmin fitness tracker and I was looking into an Apple Watch but I had concerns over whether the health app would be comparible to the Garmin app. This just makes me realize I was right to stick with my Garmin.

Whats changed in the "apple music" does it still have empty artists? or does it finally let you use "custom artwork"

It didn't fixed the reading list bug of safari. When you try to mark a site as read in safaris reading list, it will crush. Also sometimes when you ad a site to the reading list. Hope they will fix this very soon.

Alma be not a bug: adding automatically passwords on iPad in privat mode does not work. In Safari it will work. Why?

Don't get me entirely wrong, this was my first issue in over 18 months. And if I was willing to hold out, it probably could have been solved. But I was told it was 'user' error, so it was easier to wipe and start over. But after digging more into the 10.1 issue, I realized that new data wasn't being written either, and thats also what I had occur during my issue. So this was definitely the same. Only took them 5 weeks to figure it out.
