Doesn't it seem like apple has so many bug updates lately? I feel like im on my ps4 and every update is to increase stability.

Does this address the lack of snappiness in safari? Serious question. Ever since the last update, my ipad's safari doesn't load certain pages like even macrumors and i have to keep refreshing until it "just works"
Wouldn't it be worse if they didn't! And let you suffer with bugs for months...

Of coarse! I just mean i feel like there are more occurrences of bugs lately in the updates, whereas before...i dont know. It doesn't seem like i used to have so many problems after updating. Like now on my ipad...i can barely load mac rumors without it being laggy and im on a current ipad pro 13

My Tier 2 support rep emailed me yesterday telling me a fix was on the way for my issue. Engineers were able to extract the data from my iCloud backup and view it. So this would have fixed the issue, but too late now as I have already started over. My iCloud account was in troubleshooting mode so they could use my backup files.
Hmm, woldnt you be better off keeping a years woth and starting from there verses starting from a few weeks ago? Just curious as you mentioned over a years worth of data lost. That's pretty substantial.

Yes, I was on 10.1 previously. It showed up as around 48.5MB for the OTA. I glanced at it quickly before plugging it in to my PC to update via iTunes.

I really hope this includes a Bluetooth fix.
Yeah... I forgot iTunes only does full installs.
I always use the OTA method.

No because my move streak and all my goals would have been lost anyway. I would have had no data for 5 weeks because the bug prevents new data from being written. Regardless I would have had to start my 365 day move streak over. At least this way I get a new medal each day for consecutive days. The other way would mean nothing until I hit 365 days again.

47 or 48 MB, on iP 6. Installation takes a long time, maybe this feeling is subjective.

Done, in the meantime.

My iP6 is warm again after the Update. In a leathercase.

Had battery drain under 10.1. Specifically Safary sucked the battery like crazy.

Don't get me entirely wrong, this was my first issue in over 18 months. And if I was willing to hold out, it probably could have been solved. But I was told it was 'user' error, so it was easier to wipe and start over. But after digging more into the 10.1 issue, I realized that new data wasn't being written either, and thats also what I had occur during my issue. So this was definitely the same. Only took them 5 weeks to figure it out.
I see. Well, this still makes me realize that the Garmin app is pretty nice for what it offers. With the Health app I had concerns on how to extract data as well as write data to it in the event of a new phone or having to restore. I don't like to restore from backup but to get individual app data I'm not sure of another way. Also given the issues you mentioned I don't think I could primarily use or depend on the Health app as my fitness/health data is extremely important to me.

I am not seeing the update . IPad Air 2 and IPhone SE, both public beta profile installed since iOS 10 beta 1

I agree with those who think that the lack of an update for those who have beta profiles indicates an impending 10.2 drop. Might happen today. Might explain why they did 10.1.1 so early, also.

Not that what I think matters a lick to Apple!

Looking forward to installing it later tonight. I'm affected by the issue since updating to 10.1 - nothing in Health application and I've had a lot of data (Watch user since June last year). I see over 3 GB of Health data in my iCloud backup, so I really hope it's not lost.
