244mb. I hope this fixes the battery and performance drain. Wishful thinking as this is probably a security update. Here we go.
A patch this fast is also a sign of a rushed os11 software release /poor QA...
Let's hope so. My battery life since iOS 11 has been pretty crappy. Everything else has been pretty nice though
It's small because it's a delta update, where the iOS 11 GM install was the full install.
Did anyone notice that it helps the battery issue? Somehow my phone was losing 20% within an hour without having any apps open and I even reset the phone. Hope this update helps
No, it's just continued improvement over the past few weeks. Heaven forbid they continue to work on the OS for the rest of the year, and parts of next year.
iOS 11 is the first time that I am seeing "delayed typing/keyboard lag" on an iPhone.
This brings back the horror memories from Xperia days of mine.
Seriously, I don't necessarily type that fast but letters take 1sec to show up and trust me it doesn't sound that bad, but the lag is extremely noticeable, something never happened to me on iOS.
Edit - only happens on 6 and not Air 2, and I know the device is 3 years old but I'm not sure how task heavy is "keyboard" enough to lag when texting someone.
Edit 2 - Just updated it, and now this one feels extremely stable and no keyboard lag YES! I love Apple again lol.

That's how it works. When you have a beta profile installed, it does not look at production update servers. Working as intended.
