Well despite all this news, I broke down and got an X, lol. That screen kept pulling me in.

Got to give them credit....they are churning out updates at a pretty high clip these days to try and squash as many of these big bugs as possible.

Would rather give them credit for releasing products that weren't so riddled with bugs in the first place. iOS 11, WatchOS 4, and macOS High Sierra have all been extremely buggy for me.

My iPhone X still freezes in cold weather. Sometimes it gets totally unresponsive. Am I alone? It’s updated.

Should I return and get another unit or wait a new update? Is it a software or hardware problem?

I now have this issue on my 7+ since installing 11.1 and 11.1.2 and always when I try to wake from sleep or when it is finished charging. The 7+ is rarely exposed to cold though (left upstairs once.)

Currently performing a DFU, but I am a bit annoyed to reboot the phone 1-2x a day.

Um...Maybe because it wasn't winter at the time, HELLOOOooooo......... !

I can’t quite get my head around the blindness of that comment, you’re saying that there is no way a multi-billion dollar company can somehow reduce the air temperature in a room or box of some kind to put the phone in and test it? I really hope your joking as every household has one or two of them that would do the trick.

I was joking, sorry if that wasn't clear :) Not a weather expert but I think a little more is involved with re-creating winter weather for proper tests, but obviously they should have had all that taken care of and fully tested before release, I agree.

As Apple has "in the wild" test units In would suspect they would have a few in extreme climate situations. Unless they are lab or virtual testing for this element.

A few concerns:
1.Has anybody noticed when on a fb video the X on the top left corner to exit, looks like it’s hovering over something and it’s hard to click, to exit.
2. Why does the time icon also top left corner, turn green & blue at times.
3.Is apple planning on bringing back the “display zoom” a great feature besides the magnifying glass, large font & bold features. This was great for those with some impaired vision.

Apple today released iOS 11.1.2, the seventh official update to the iOS 11 operating system. iOS 11.1.2 comes just one week after Apple released iOS 11.1.1, an update that addressed a pesky and widespread autocorrect bug.

The iOS 11.1.2 update can be downloaded for free on all eligible devices over-the-air in the Settings app. To access the update, go to Settings --> General --> Software Update.

The iOS 11.1.2 update addresses bugs and issues that have been discovered since the release of iOS 11.1.1. According to Apple's release notes, the update addresses a bug that caused some iPhone X displays to become temporarily unresponsive when exposed to cold temperatures. iOS 11.1.2 comes as Apple works on the iOS 11.2 update, which introduces Apple Pay Cash, support for faster 7.5W wireless charging on iPhone X, 8, and 8 Plus, and several bug fixes and minor interface tweaks.
