Hopefully this will fix the missing badges on iMessage on my iPad.

I hope so too. My mom has been dealing with this with her brand new iPad 6th gen. We’ve been round and round with Apple. Its ridiculous...

I had the missing iMessage badges problem on my iPad Pro, as well. Since 11.3, I think.

Simply updating to 11.4.1 did not fix it.

So I erased all content and settings then restored to an iTunes backup.
Now I have the badges functioning again.

I've had issues with iOS 11 from the get-go. I figured it couldn't get any worse with iOS 12 Beta and since iOS 12 is meant to be a stability focused update, odds would be that it'd be more stable than iOS 11. I was right. I'm not touching this iOS until iOS 12 officially comes out. It's about perfect right now.

Installed it on my iPhone 7+ and it works as well as did with 11.4.

How’s your battery life though?
