Sounds like something else is going on there. This update is a joke! I went from 19GB available to 4! Seriously?! Thank you Apple for loading lots of useless crap on my phone! Whatever those updates are! Ugh!
Holy god!
I was joking when I said that they would make new emojis a big deal in their next event but...
god!
Fiction is now reality!
Even though I have the beta profile, I still was able to download iOS 12.2.
Realistically speaking, oddities like that happen to some devices out there--with millions upon millions of them in use--with pretty much any update (and sometimes even without updates).
I believe dark mode is pretty much confirmed for IOS 13 although I recently read it might be delayed until a 13.something release. With the move to OLED, dark mode seems obvious at this point. I hope.
Anyone else? Just updated and all my Apple Pay credit cards are missing from the Wallet and also my Apple Pay Cash card. When I try to add a card back in I get a message that I have already put in the maximum of 12 cards. I only had 3 and now have none.
This always seems to work on bug fixes having anything to do with the cloud. Sounds like something should be able to fix.Yes! I had the same issue. Along with a problem where I could not change timezone. This may seem like an odd fix, but once I logged out of iCloud and logged back in, everything worked properly again.

Done and done. Good suggestion.I don't recall hearing anything about emojis at the event today, so I think fiction is still fiction.
But for the iOS 12.2 release? Yes, I'm glad they're making a big deal out of them. It drives updates.

You might want to get rid of it anyway, or you could accidentally end up with the first beta of 12.2.1, 12.3 or 13.0 (when released, of course). I find it's better to move back to the beta channel intentionally after a release.

Animojis and emojis are not the same thing. From the article,
"There are four new Animoji in iOS 12.2, including a boar, a shark, a giraffe, and an owl. The new Animoji are available in the Messages and FaceTime apps."
Safari is genuinely snappier.
Ah yes, the infamous 5G E icon. AT&T has some major backlash to deal with because of their deceit. Apple should've kept its phones out of that mess.
It's not Apple's job to edit or comment other companies' branding. They get the guidelines and implement them. You wouldn't expect them to replace Google's logo with a devil head or something, would you?Apple's silence on this is either a result of them not wanting to ostracize a major carrier, which would be disappointing, or a result of some carryover from their early iPhone contract. Please let it be the latter, Timmy.
My News App is not working today on my iPhone XS Max. But it works fine on my iPad Pro.Is the News app crashing for anyone else this morning?
Interesting. Not working on my iOS devices (Xs and iPad Pro), but is working on macOS.My News App is not working today on my iPhone XS Max. But it works fine on my iPad Pro.
Ah great, now they moved stuff for no reason from the General->About screen.
Looks like Apple is copying Microsoft now...change for change sake.
If you tap on ‘12.2’ it will show the build number. What's the GM 12.2 build number?
