download is kind of slow but expect it since everyone wants this update and its getting hit hard already.

Okay, so I got all the way through the download to the "Preparing Update..." part.. then it said "Software Update Failed - An error occurred downloading iOS 12".

FWIW, it's saying iOS12 for my 8 Plus is 2.22Gb, different than what some others have posted.

It looks like the Workflow app is shortcuts with just a new name.. nothing new or different. I just found shortcut app on the appstore and it took me to my workflow app

For Beta users, Shortcuts app can be downloaded from the updates section of App Store.

OTA appeared on my iPhone X at 7 minutes past the hour. Download complete and now “Preparing Update”

My iPad Pro was in the beta program so already at iOS 12. Shortcuts appeared in the App Store on it about 11 minutes after the hour, is installed, and waiting for me to play with it.

Shortcuts isn't in the app store yet.

I just downloaded Workflow from the iOS App Store and it automagically downloaded the Shortcuts app.

if its not showing as OTA yet you can force it by searching for the "Workflow" app in the App Store and then downloading. you'll then get prompted to download iOS 12.

This question probaly comes up every time. Sorry.

I’ve installed iOS 12 GM. Do I need a clean install, to download the iOS 12 just released.

I have the gold master...do I need to do this update? Not showing up yet.

its the same version, just remove your beta profile and reboot unless you want to be in the next beta. thats what I did for my IPP 10.5 since I dont want to be in the next one for now

In DC...showed up for iPad Pro (downloading)....after 10 mins, showed up for iPhone X (now downloading as well)

Can Google make their apps work with CarPlay already. Why wait to the last minute. The software is already buggy and beta testing would have helped
