iOS 12.4 is released without a patch merged in
iOS 13.0 is released only for handset devices, because holy crap, we can't have only the iPhone 11s running on these things
iOS 13.1 was supposed to be released 10 days after until ... F it, release it in half that time.
And since then, 13.1.1 and 13.1.2 after only a few days.

This OS team is burning like a person in a gasoline suit at giant BBQ cook off.
The OS team is called burnt beyond recognition
Everyone complaining about the updates, would you rather have no updates with fixes?

how about placebo updates ... 3.3gb of nothing but the same OS with just the version number updated

So..."- Fixes a bug that could result in a loss of display calibration data", this...is...recoverable...right, Apple? Or our screens are screwed?

Hope they fix the folder/open-close animation on the iPhone. When you touch on a folder, it dims the rest of the screen too much and too quickly. And when you touch back and the folder collapses, the animation is again too fast, giving the effect that the icons and text are "shaking".

Anyone else stuck on the Apple logo with a spinning icon on the bottom.. Been like that for 10 mins now.
Yes, trying to decide what I want to do about it.
Edit: Decided to do a reset. It gave me a notice that an update was available. Went to update page and now running the process again as if I didn't the first time.

Wouldn't it be amazing if Apple had a competent QA team? Oh wait......

And those of you bashing on Android I am running version 10 (Google Pixel 2XL) and have not had a single issue with my Outlook app, or bluetooth. Even Pie 9.0 worked flawlessly. Not bad for a 2 year old phone.

Now tell me again why my new iPhone 11 pro max is having so many issues and causing my day to day work to be impacted?

Luckily I use both.

Desperate that this may fix Spotify Connect to Sonos One issues.

Spotify deny it is their problem.
Sonos denies it is their problem.
Apple blames the apps.

Appalling customer service all round and if you check Twitter there are many people affected.

NB. Please don't recommend I use the Sonos app. One cannot stream podcasts to Sonos from the Sonos app.

Also, where is the patch for Watch? iOS is not the only appalling release to come out of Apple this month.

Ok, obviously a stable release did not happen. They are now trying to work as fast as possible to fix those issue. At east they’re fixing them now.
I feel people complain just for complaining sake. Like you said at least they’re updating it and today was the original plan for 13.1. So whatever they did to make it happen sooner is most likely why we have these two smaller patches. Not that big of a deal. I doubt many have even updated to 13.1 yet. Aside from media and techies the general public don’t even know about updates and let it self install while it’s on the charger overnight. Which automatic updates only checks once every week or two.

Hmmmmm.... this is becoming funny... I keep telling my friends there's a new update and they keep thinking im messing with them.... BTW, The Homepod update now says "later this fall" on Apple's website....

On my iPhone 8 Plus, the TouchID requester doesn't show until a thumb is placed on the home button. Kind of worrying when it's in a banking app and the whole screen goes blank. I can't be the only one experiencing this.

I don’t understand all the comments worrying about quality control. It’s clear they were rushed getting iOS 13 ready in time, but they’re fixing the bugs at a furious pace and it’s already quite stable on 13.1. I welcome the updates.

iOS development has become more and more complex, with now iPadOS and tvOS and watchOS to complicate things. I think they’re doing a great job.
