Why doesn't my Settings app show the badge notification telling me there's an iOS update available until
after I go manually check if there's one available by going to Settings > General > Software Update?
Is there a way to make this badge (see below) show up automatically when the iOS update becomes available?
Maybe not the very second it happens, but this update has been available for over twelve hours, and the only reason I found out was because I decided to visit macrumors.com.
If nothing else is available, I guess the closest I'll come to being notified that an iOS update is available will have to be to ask Twitter to notify me every time MacRumors tweets something.
