Apple Releases iOS 15.1.1 With Call Improvements for iPhone 12 and 13 Models

No one seems to even care that Apple started supporting the continued use of iOS 14, yet my 12 is NOT offering a jump to 14.8.1+, but ONLY 15.1.1. So much for that, Apple?!?! Ridiculous, just like their mystery macOS 3-release support. So, I guess that whole "keep using iOS14" to avoid their cutting/bleeding edge CRAP is already over? That sure didn't last long!
 
What’s the consensus on battery life? My 13 pro max auto updated over night. A quick google search has the usual huge battery drain stuff. Is this just the indexing in the background as always?
