I’m so excited to be able to double click the power button and instantly access my vaccine passport. So far storing it in files hasn’t been terrible, but this is way easier. Also hoping some of the crashing in messages has been resolved.
I just tested and the touch registration has been fixed on my 13 Pro Max.
It opens a door. So yes, currently it only compares hash values of known bad images.
In the past, Apple could decline warrant so search phones, due to the fact they don't have a back door built into the product (intentionally).They would win in court, due to being able to argue they don't have a back door and would have to make them, etc. Once you build this, then it's a much smaller ask when the FBI knocks and says, we want you to search for these hash values too (which would not be related to the child porn images). That would be a fight Apple would likely lose. It opens a big door.
It does not seem to be affecting everyone. I have never seen the issue on my 13 Pro Max before the update and now after the update.
Anything on the drivers licenses yet? I even went ahead and called my MVD (Arizona's DMV), and they said that they are waiting on Apple.
Seems like it, or Apple would have pushed it out to Devs/Public beta today as well. I'm still showing up to date.
Their apps needs to be updated with the "add to wallet" option.

Yea I was hoping they would have maybe added a "flower" icon to denote macro mode... Maybe we're just doing it wrong. Will wait til someone smarter than myself figures this one out.
To add the vaccination receipt to my wallet I just took a picture of the QR code and then there was a little health icon that pops up when I pressed it allowed me to add it to my Apple health app now shows in my wallet.
My 12 Pro have lost a ridiculous amount of battery health since last year, like none of my previous iPhones did in the past for the same usage pattern, so hopefully these battery calibrations can improve it...
^^^ This worked for me too! I'm in Virginia where the state supports Smart Health Card. If in Virginia, go to https://vaccinate.virginia.gov/ and scroll down to "Need a copy of your vaccination record?" Fill out a very short form and a QR Code will appear after processing...
Does the "share" icon appear? Click that and it should ask if you want to share to a health wallet.
