iPhone 14PMFingers crossed this includes some cellular/modem update to help with cellular issues on iPhone 14 -- can someone provide the modem firmware after updating to 16.0.3? (If on Verizon: also provide carrier version)
No surprise. 16.1 is going to launch with new iPad Pros later this month.no 16.1 today then!
16.1 is not ready. This makes me think it’ll be at least two more weeks.no 16.1 today then!
I’m hoping the iOS 16.1 Release Candidate update gets released tomorrow.16.1 is not ready. This makes me think it’ll be at least two more weeks.
Thanks for providing this -- I'm tempted to downgrade from 16.1 beta 4 to this version since there's a stronger likelihood they've been working on a fix for the cellular issues with that sort of firmware updateiPhone 14PM
Modem Firmware: 1.00.05 to 1.00.08
Carrier unchanged
i’m keeping my 13 pro on 15.7 until at least 16.1, maybe even 16.2.It BETTER work reasonably well. Otherwise, my iPhone 12 will only upgrade when iOS 16.1 releases in a few weeks.
very unlikely if they just released this update.. probably a few weeks away stillI’m hoping the iOS 16.1 Release Candidate update gets released tomorrow.
Wait, this has happened to you? This bug has caused me a myriad of issues. Have you contacted Apple about this? Are they going to fix the bug where the screen goes black and unresponsive, requiring a hard reset? Please?
16.1 current beta has moden firmware at 1.13.01iPhone 14PM
Modem Firmware: 1.00.05 to 1.00.08
Carrier unchanged
This one is 100% user error.Does this update fix the lack of a USB-C port on the iPhone 14 Pro?
Same. If anything I’d guess build a tomorrow. They skipped over d last week.I’m hoping the iOS 16.1 Release Candidate update gets released tomorrow.
beta testers were more concerned about the power icon 😆Pretty buggy iOS 16 launch with so many hotfixes. Was expecting iOS 16.1 this week.
I completely agree. I like to have a reasonably functional phone and not dealing with unusual bugs.i’m keeping my 13 pro on 15.7 until at least 16.1, maybe even 16.2.
i don’t want to lose my normal operating phone just due to these rushed updates
You'll have to give them some time on that, to figure out how to fix it, then really test the life out of the fix in the wild (on roller coasters and who knows what else) and then roll it out - guessing a month to several months depending on how hard a nut it is to fix.But what about the bugs in Crash Detection.......rollercoaster riders want to know!!!
Actually 15 was a work from home version and was one of the better iOS .00 releases. Operating System x.00 release quality is always a bit of a gamble as there always unexpected bugs and because .00 releases are so large there are always lots of bugs.16.1 seems to be having a ton of issues still. More of that great work-from-home software shining through.
I’d do that. Trust me, from a person who upgraded and has spent countless hours trying to recover and get things back in working order (just having a basic phone that I can make calls on), this has been such a huge pain this year. By far the worst experience I have had with this process.I completely agree. I like to have a reasonably functional phone and not dealing with unusual bugs.
Temporarily switch to LTE only and see if that helps, given the issues with Verizon's non-mmWave 5G network.Anyone else is having cellular connectivity issues on 14 Pro Max... or maybe on Verizon as well ???
Sheesh!Does this update fix the lack of a USB-C port on the iPhone 14 Pro?
It's happened once to me, and a couple times to my mom.Wait, this has happened to you? This bug has caused me a myriad of issues. Have you contacted Apple about this?
