Fixed the bug that wouldn't let me delete the default cities in the Weather app. I did not care for the weather in Cupertino and I cared less for the fact the app would hard crash when you tried to delete it!

Ugh forget the damn 14 and fix the billion iPhones still out there. If it was this unfinished they should have pushed back the release.

I’m still having problems with touches not registering, siri suggestions not showing up, and tons of other little things.

Applied the update, was experiencing the phone answering problem where it would take a few seconds for it to register that you answered it, hopefully that's cleared up. You'd think after so many iterations of iOS that the killer app "phone", would be solid by now.

Thanks for providing this -- I'm tempted to downgrade from 16.1 beta 4 to this version since there's a stronger likelihood they've been working on a fix for the cellular issues with that sort of firmware update
iPhone 14PM

Modem Firmware: 1.00.05 to 1.00.08
Carrier unchanged
Modem Firmware: 1.00.08
Verizon Carrier: 51.0.2

As opposed to you’re holding it wrong, which was strictly from the office?
These people saying this stuff don't even have a clue. They're just jealous that they chose a profession that can't work from home, or perhaps are actually technology workers but just too lazy or underskilled to leave their in-office employer for one who allows hybrid or remote work.

The poor quality code that has been coming out of shops like Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, and Google in recent years -- even more than two years ago -- is a bigger reflection of Agile and Scrum mentalities being forced on everyone, rather than where somebody is working from.

Traditional software development cycles worked for 30 years, but because "fast" is never fast enough for greedy business leaders, these untested and flawed project management practices are being foisted upon everyone. It's nothing more than an excuse to cut QA out of the picture, lay off testers, and pump code out as fast as the keys lift off of developers' keyboards no matter how buggy it might be at first glance.

It's happened once to me, and a couple times to my mom.
Mine did this once, Apple deemed that they should send a new replacement phone; which was never able to be activated due to esim issues. Sent back new replacement phone and waiting to hear something back from Apple about fixing the original issue. In total I have spent about 20 hours on the phone/in Verizon/Apple stores trying to iron this out. Very disappointed.

My haptics stopped working after update but reboot fixed. Anyone else experience this?

Yes I'm seeing the same thing on AT&T with 14 Pro Max -- the 5G connectivity was very flakey -- despite the RSSI meter showing plenty of signal.
Also on AT&T. In the Nashville area where I live, I haven't noticed cellular issues (other than my normal bad spots that I wish AT&T had a way for me to report; areas where data speeds are ALWAYS bad, no matter how great the signal, but I digress). But yeah, performance around this area for me on my 14PM has been great.

However, last week I was on vacation in the Cleveland area visiting family, and my 5G service with AT&T was all kinds of wonky. Often I'd have strong signal strength, but my data speeds were all over the place, to the point where I thought that if I were to live up there all the time, I'd have to get off of AT&T. But with y'alls comments, I bet I was having the same issues you were experiencing.

Maybe it's certain towers that still need updating... hmmmm...

Seriously. MR needs to add a filter to hide posts of people complaining about USB-C. It's worse than the headphone jack complaints in 2017, and in this case it's all but inevitable that Apple will be adding USB-C anyway.
Or you could just exercise your miracle of evolution called a thumb and keep scrolling. My condolences to your friends and family for your complete lack of a sense of humor.

Interesting in general I have better experience with AT&T in Champaign/Urbana IL than before on my 13 ProMax. There maybe a few funny areas but they were never that good in parts of town.

Overall for me my 14 ProMax 1 TB has been flawless, no battery issues - better than 13 ProMax and that was good. No funny restarts on MagSafe puck, my wired CarPlay on my Mazda 6 did not have volume issues with calls, but I seldom have the problems others have with new phones and iOS releases so it may be a lack of problematic third party apps, or who knows I sure don’t

AT&T has gotten bad around Cleveland the last couple years. Especially because they don't have any band 5 spectrum, they are pushing a lot of devices using 5G onto a B12 PCC instead of spreading the load across their 15x15 B2 spectrum the way they do for LTE. They also seem to be struggling with backhaul capacity on some towers since they began turning on n77. They could also afford to add some small cells and fill-in sites in congested and weak signal areas in the suburbs the way Verizon has, not just downtown.

I left AT&T early this year due to this and a couple other issues. I'll check in again in 2-3 years. Hopefully they'll get caught up and sort out the capacity issues they're currently struggling with.
