I noticed zero difference. I was getting 600/20 with direct line of sight to the tower and it's still the same.

Does anybody know how to turn on 5G SA? I have T-Mobile and thought it should work with iOS 16.4 but don't see the option in cellular data options, just 5G Auto or 5G On as before. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max if that makes a difference and I have 5G UC service.

WhatsApp Web on Safari doesn’t sync with your phone in real time. So you get the notifications [only the red badge in my case, not as banner in the notification centre] when Safari syncs. If you open your WhatsApp web often, chances are you will have to wait a few seconds before the new messages are synced. Plus, all read messages on the phone remain unread on WhatsApp Web until you open each chat/message. In short, it’s annoying.
And by the way, you need to save/bookmark WhatsApp Web. In my case, I installed it as a web-wrapped app using Siri Shortcut, so it feels like a native app to some degree.
Maybe WhatsApp has to fully support this notification functionality to make this work properly.
Perhaps it’s per location. From I can tell, the screenshot below is what should be shown.

iPhone 13 Mini the option appears for me. Not sure why it is not appearing for you? Is 5G turned on for you?

The only thing I care about since this "new" OS is putting new notifications back at the top of the list on my lock screen instead of hidden at the end, out of sight. Why haven't they fixed this yet?
5G Stand-alone is under Cellular>Cellular Data Options>Voice & Data for me on my iPhone 13 Pro.

Tmobile’s new standalone 5G service was not included with iOS 16.4 as it was with the betas. It was not listed in the release notes. They’ll probably add it soon though
Strange. I am in Hungary atm and it appears and seems to be working here.
Try turnino off Beta updates, it worked for me and others here too.
