I noticed zero difference. I was getting 600/20 with direct line of sight to the tower and it's still the same.Gonna wait to download. Can someone try the new Tmobile 5G Standalone update on iOS 16.4 please?

I had this as well.Minor issue but a bit puzzling:
After the update, if you have toggled off anything on the Safari start page, all of them are toggled on again.
Same with the sidebars in the Music and Podcast apps. Just toggle them back off.
The apps also forget order of your items, so you will have to rearrange them again.
It's 6pm and you are at 37% - I don't know if you are joking or being real, but if you are at 37% by 6pm, you still have a good 6-8 hours.Snappier?
In all seriousness I hope it helps battery drain on the iPhone 14 Pro! I’m so disappointed with this phone, it’s 6pm in the evening and I’m at 37%. My iPhone 11 Pro that I updated from still lasted all day. I’m actually sickened by this garbage.
My iphone and ipad do not show update to my RC yet???Interesting, usually if I have the RC the official release doesn't push out another update over it if nothing changed, but this one is, so they must have made changes after RC
Same here on an iPhone 14 Pro Max.Interesting, usually if I have the RC the official release doesn't push out another update over it if nothing changed, but this one is, so they must have made changes after RC
It works when it wants and doesn’t when it does not. I mean…I wonder if the Web Apps notifications will work for Whatsapp web on iPad? That would be amazing...
How did you turn it on? I don't see the option.I noticed zero difference. I was getting 600/20 with direct line of sight to the tower and it's still the same.
Perhaps it’s per location. From I can tell, the screenshot below is what should be shown. How did you turn it on? I don't see the option.
Might be coming in iOS 16.5?Still no savings account...
It wasn’t in the notes. So don’t think it was included.Does anybody know how to turn on 5G SA? I have T-Mobile and thought it should work with iOS 16.4 but don't see the option in cellular data options, just 5G Auto or 5G On as before. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max if that makes a difference and I have 5G UC service.
iPhone 13 Mini the option appears for me. Not sure why it is not appearing for you? Is 5G turned on for you?How did you turn it on? I don't see the option.
Thanks, I don't see that the standalone switch. You could be right that it is not enabled in this area yet.Perhaps it’s per location. From I can tell, the screenshot below is what should be shown.

3Gbps iPhone speeds could be coming soon as iOS 16.4 brings 5G Standalone support - 9to5Mac
Among the new features and changes with the first developer beta of iOS 16.4, a new toggle has arrived in...9to5mac.com
I sure hope so. I've been putting off moving my savings to American Express for 6 months waiting on Apple.
Tmobile’s new standalone 5G service was not included with iOS 16.4 as it was with the betas. It was not listed in the release notes. They’ll probably add it soon thoughI noticed zero difference. I was getting 600/20 with direct line of sight to the tower and it's still the same.
Strange. I am in Hungary atm and it appears and seems to be working here. Thanks, I don't see that the standalone switch. You could be right that it is not enabled in this area yet.
